Revelation 17:1-2 –“And there came one of the seven Angels which had the seven Vials, andtalked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will show unto you thejudgment of the great whore who sits upon many waters: with whom thekings of the Earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants ofthe Earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.”   (The followinginformation respecting Islam was given in “THE EVANGELIST” severalyears ago; however, due to the times in which we live, I think itnecessary that it be given again.) Islam     The last great conflict to grip the world, which will bring about thedeaths of possibly several billions of people, will be that of theAntichrist. The Antichrist thinks he finally has solved the “Jewish problem.” In his evil mind, the solution to that “problem”will be the same solution that Adolf Hitler desired, namely, theannihilation of every Jew on the planet. The Antichrist’s efforts willreach their highest point at the Battle of Armageddon, and he will comeclose to completing his goal. He would succeed, were it not for theSecond Coming of Christ. The Lord Jesus Christ will come back to Earthat that very time.    The way the world is being prepared for the advent of the Antichristinvolves the rise of Islam. A great part of the Muslim world issituated in the Middle East and controls some 60 percent of the world’soil reserves. Despite the fact that hundreds of billions of dollars gointo their coffers every year, the Muslim nations of the Middle Eastare notoriously poor. There are approximately three hundred millionMuslims in Middle East countries. Despite the billions of oil dollarsflowing into their economies, those countries are steadily gettingpoorer. Only a tiny few profit from the oil billions, and these few areobscenely rich.    The powers that be in the Muslim world desire that the masses ofMuslims remain poor — dirt poor, even agonizingly poor. They thenclaim, and they constantly are claiming, that it is the United Statesthat is the cause of this poverty, using these claims as recruitingtools for human bombers who are willing to give up their pitiful livesin order to kill the “infidels.”    One can hardly fail to notice that the two enemies of the Muslim worldare the United States and Israel. The Muslims hate the Jews for manyand varied reasons, but perhaps the greatest reason is their claim thatIshmael is the true son of Abraham, not Isaac. As a result, they wantevery Jew dead, and they want to possess every square inch of the tinyland of Israel.    Consider the following fact: The land area of Israel comprises about1/10 of 1 percent of the entirety of the land area of the MiddleEast. All the rest of the Middle East (99.9%) is controlled by Arabsand Muslims, but yet they still want that tiny spit of land called “Israel.”     Why?     The truth is, they don’t really know why themselves.    The following is the true reason: Israel, according to the Bible,claims to be the chosen people of God, while the Muslims, who refer totheir god as “Allah,” claim the same thing through Ishmael. Incidentally, the name “Allah”comes from one of the ancient Babylonian idols, and was selectedsomewhat at random by Muhammad. So the goal of most Muslims is toannihilate every Jew and confiscate the tiny land of Israel for theirown.    It is a blatantly false idea that the conflict between Israel and thePalestinians is caused by Israel refusing to give the Palestinianstheir own particular homeland within the borders of the State ofIsrael. The true cause of the conflict is that the Palestinians want,as stated, every Jew dead and the entirety of the Land of Israel intheir possession. The United states      The United States is the next great culprit. In fact, the Muslim world refers to the United States and Israel as “big Satan” and “little Satan,”respectively. They hate this country because of the Lord JesusChrist. They may mouth some platitudes about respecting the Lord Jesusas a great Prophet, but they actually hate Him, and with apassion! They see Him as the rival of Muhammad, which alone fuels thehatred.     The Reader absolutely must understand the following:    If the Muslims had their way, the Land of Israel and the United Statesboth would literally cease to exist. They would murder or make slavesof every Jew and every American who would not instantly convert toIslam. They do not lack the will, only the way. We should consider thatin our thinking regarding the world of Islam.    Unfortunately, President Bush has referred to the Koran as a book oflove and peace. Nothing could be further from the truth! Sadly, we areattempting to fight this war against terrorism without admitting thetrue cause of terrorism, which is the religion of Islam. It isessential to understand that the religion of Islam is not just a partof the cause, but the entirety of the cause.     It is a most ridiculous idea, to say the least, that Islam is a great religion that has only a few “fanatics.” The claim is that only about 10 percent of Muslims fall into this category of “fanaticism.” Consideringthat there are approximately one billion Muslims in the world, when youdo the math, there would be 100 million Muslim fanatics, and thatsurely constitutes a lot of fanatics — all bent on destroying thisnation and Israel.     So what am I saying?    We can hide our heads in the sand, and formulate our policy on thebasis of a lie, and the lie of which I speak is that Islam is a greatreligion, which is not really to blame at all, or we can wake up andsmell the proverbial coffee.     Let me say it again:     The religion of Islam, which includes the Koran, is the cause of all the terrorism in the world today.     Now think about that for a moment!    To think that we are going to stamp out terrorism without dealing withthe true cause of terrorism is ludicrous, to put it mildly! But yetthat seems to be our policy. It seems we are “Uncle Sap” instead of “Uncle Sam”!    I applaud President Bush’s attempts to take the initiative in trying tobring democracy to the world of Islam; however, the problems of theMuslim world, which are ignorance, poverty, and superstition, allfueled by despotic dictators, cannot be properly addressed withoutaddressing the cause of those problems, which is the religion of Islam. How do we properly address the religion of islam?     As a democratic nation, which is what we should be, we should try toencourage democracy among these particular countries; however, at thesame time, we must not deceive ourselves into thinking that the causeof the problem is something else other than the religion ofIslam. Ignorance and stupidity cannot come out to a plus.    As Christians, however, even though we know the Truth about Islam,still, Jesus died for the Muslims, just the same as He died for allothers. We as Believers should love the Muslims just as we loveeveryone else, but not forget what their religion actually is.    We should not expect the President of the United States, or any of ourleaders, to rail out against Islam. That wouldn’t be sensible, andneither would it solve anything. But at the same time, we should notexpect our leaders to praise something that vows our destruction. Werepeat: They do not lack the will, only the way.    In the final analysis, the only solution for that problem, as it is forany other problem, is the Lord Jesus Christ. At the same time, we knowthat virtually the entirety of the Muslim world, even if they had theopportunity to hear of Christ, would reject Him. How does the world of Islam fit in with bible Prophecy concerning the last days?      It fits in graphically so! In fact, other than Israel, Islam will be, at least in some ways, the principal player.     How will that be?    Babylon, as we are here addressing, according to the Bible, will berebuilt, whether as a system or a city, or both (Rev., Chpts. 17-18). Ipersonally believe it will be both. As is obvious, ancient Babylon wasin Iraq, approximately 75 miles south of modern Baghdad.    What the United States is presently doing in Iraq could very well bringabout a tremendous change in that country, with commerce becoming itsgreatest activity instead of religion. In other words, even though ourleaders realize it not at all, what they are doing could very well pavethe way for the rebuilding of Babylon as a great commercial center inthe world, which the Bible predicts for this region (Rev., Chpt. 19).    When the Antichrist comes to power, his first headquarters will beBabylon. At some point, the religion of Islam will have to give way toAntichrist worship, because he will tolerate no opposition or rivalworship. He will demand all worship and allegiance to himself, not toany religion otherwise (Dan. 11:36-39). So, what we are seeing now isthe prelude to the end. In other words, whether we realize it or not,we are seeing Bible Prophecy fulfilled before our very eyes —incidentally, Prophecy which leads directly to the Second Coming. The bible and iraq      It is little known by most Believers that “Iraq”is mentioned in the Bible more than any other place with the exceptionof Israel. However, it goes under several names: Babylon, Shinar,Mesopotamia, and the Chaldees. Of course, the name “Iraq” is not mentioned, that being of recent origin.    It is believed that the Garden of Eden was in modern Iraq, actually onthe sight of ancient Babylon. That being the case, Iraq was the placeof the creation of our first parents, Adam and Eve. It was also thesite of the first temptation, and the location of the Fall.    Furthermore, it was the site where the first Sacrificial System waspresented by the Lord to the First Family (Gen., Chpt. 4). It isbelieved that Noah lived in Iraq and built the Ark in that country. Itwas Babylon which destroyed the Southern Kingdom of Judah and took thepeople captive. It was Babylon which destroyed, under Nebuchadnezzar,Solomon’s Temple. It was in Iraq that the Book of Daniel waswritten. Iraq was also the site of the Tower of Babel, close to ancientBabylon, which was the first organized rebellion against God.    It was in Iraq (Babylon) that Nebuchadnezzar had his great dream,interpreted by Daniel, which outlined the nations and empires of theworld which would persecute Israel and play a part in Endtimeevents. The Three Wise Men came from Iraq to worship Baby Jesus.    As stated, as the Tower of Babel was the site of the first organizedrebellion against God, which was near ancient Babylon, this will alsobe the site of the last organized rebellion, namely the rebuilding ofBabylon, with it being utterly destroyed by the Lord at the veryconclusion of the Great Tribulation (Rev., Chpt. 18). The origin of islam     Even though the following information is given in another one of ourCommentaries, due to the great significance of the subject matter, itis advisable, I think, to include it here, as well.    The religion of Islam made its debut in A.D. 622. At this time, a manemerged whose message changed the face of the Middle East and affectedthe history of Judaism and Christianity in a most significantmanner. Muhammad, of the tribe of Quraysh in Mecca, claimed to havereceived a revelation that God (Allah) was “one”and that he (Muhammad) was to be Allah’s messenger of that truth. Aftergathering his first converts from among his family members and closefriends, Muhammad encountered severe opposition, so much so that he hadto flee to the town of Medina. This flight, or “Hejira” in Arabic, is now viewed as year one in the Islamic calendar (which, as stated, was A.D. 622).    In Medina, Muhammad encountered a large and influential Jewishcommunity. The influence of Judaism on his teaching must have beensignificant. For example, during this period Muhammad taught that thefaithful should pray facing Jerusalem, as Jewish prayers were alwaysdirected there. Only later, after the Jews had rejected his message,did he alter the direction for prayer to Mecca. Muhammad     Muhammad also taught his followers to fast on the tenth day of Tishri,the same day as the Jewish fast of Yom Kippur. Later, this fast wasexpanded to include the entire month of Ramadan. As well, Muhammad’sfollowers abstained from pork and circumcised their sons, standardJewish practices since Biblical days.     Muhammad also accepted the Jewish Prophets Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, and David, as well as the “Prophet” Jesus, although he strongly rejected His Deity. Muhammad added that he himself was the “seal of Prophecy” — God’s final messenger. While accepting some of the Scriptures of Jews and Christians, Muhammad’s “revelations,” embodied in the Koran, became the authoritative “scriptures” for his faithful followers. These followers were called Muslims, from the Arabic word “Islam,” meaning “submission” to the one God.     Apparently, Muhammad thought that Jews would accept his message of a pure monotheism, but the Rabbisridiculed his illiteracy and his confusion of Biblicaltraditions. Furthermore, the Jewish people simply could not accept anon-Israelite as God’s “seal of Prophecy.”    When the Jews of Medina rejected him and his message, Muhammad turnedon them with a vengeance. Then followed the expulsion and exile of twoJewish Tribes from Medina, as well as the extermination of a third.    Finally, Muhammad and his fanatical adherents massacred most of theremaining Jews of Northern Arabia and forcibly evicted the rest. Theonly Jewish community that remained was in Yemen, which continued to1950, when nearly all the Yemenite Jews were air-lifted to Israel in “Operation Magic Carpet.” The attitude of islam toward the jewish people     There is an important contemporary lesson to be learned from this briefhistoric overview. We cannot fully comprehend the Arab-Israeli conflictunless we understand the attitude of Islam toward the Jewishpeople. The Land of Israel, or Palestine, as it was called by theRomans and Byzantines, was conquered and ruled by Muslims from theSeventh Century to the Twentieth Century.     The only interruption came when the “Christian”crusaders ruled the land for less than a hundred years. Islam finds itunacceptable that this land, originally conquered for Allah by hisfollowers, is now ruled by Jews — a people who are supposed to beinferior and subservient, according to the Koran.    The Muslims find it impossible to acknowledge the historic reality thatthe Land of Israel, according to the Bible, belongs to the Jews. Thisis the real key to understanding the impasse that exists in Israeltoday. The Arab countries, predominantly Muslim, refuse to accept aforeign, Jewish presence in a land that is supposed to be, according tothem, a part of the “world of Islam.”    The modern rise of a more fanatical Islam only heightens the tensionfor this impasse — an impasse that ultimately can be repaired only bythe coming of the Messiah, the Saviour of both Isaac’s and Ishmael’ssons. Jehovah or allah?     Respecting what has been said, the impetus behind the Arabdetermination to destroy Israel cannot be narrowly defined as a familyaffair, even though both entities are direct descendants of Abraham, orso it is believed by some (Isaac and Ishmael).    Yes, there was the matter of engendered jealousy over Ishmael beingpassed over as the recipient of the Abrahamic Covenant. That Blessingand the Promise of perpetual ownership of the Land of Israel fell toIsaac and his heirs, which are the Jews.     “AndGod said, Sarah your wife shall bear you a son indeed; and you shallcall his name Isaac: and I will establish My Covenant with him for anEverlasting Covenant, and with his seed after him” (Gen. 17:19).     But Ishmael was also given the Promise of becoming “a great nation” (Gen. 21:18) — a nation so great “that it shall not be numbered for multitude”(Gen. 16:10). That Promise has been faithfully fulfilled by God. TinyIsrael floats in the middle of a sea of Arab nations scattered across alarge portion of the globe, but with the greatest concentration in theMiddle East.    There are basically two differences between God’s Covenant with theJews and His Covenant with the Ishmaelites. Israel was specificallygiven the land called Palestine or Israel (Gen. 13:14-17; 17:6-8,19-21; 28:3-4). The paramount difference, however, is discovered in these words, as stated:     “And I will bless them who bless you, and curse him who curses you: and in you shall all families of the Earth be blessed” (Gen. 12:3).     The Promise is further defined in Genesis 22:18: “And in your seed shall all the nations of the Earth be blessed.” That “Seed” of blessing delivered to the Gentile nations through the Jewish people — including Arabs — was the Messiah.     “Nowto Abraham and his Seed were the Promises made. He said not, And toseeds, as of many; but as of One, And to your Seed, which is Christ” (Gal. 3:16).    Jewry’s presence and assigned mission were, therefore, uniquely setapart in marked contrast to those described as characteristic ofIshmael’s seed and national legacy. The “Seed”component in God’s program for humanity surpasses every other aspect ofhistory. In addition to being a Saviour of men, Messiah is to be aKing. When His Kingdom finally arrives, He will establish and enforcestability. Delivery of the One Who could so bless mankind was theexclusive province of Abraham’s Seed through Isaac. The Promise isspecific. The Abrahamic Covenant provided:     1. A King for the Throne: “And kings shall come out of you” (Gen. 17:6).     2. A land for the King: “And I will give unto you, and unto your seed after you, the land wherein you are a stranger, all the land of Canaan” (Gen. 17:8).     3. A people for the King: “And I will be their God” (Gen. 17:8). The blessing      Unfortunately, it was the “Blessing”aspect of the Covenant that developed the animosity in Esau’sposterity, because the Blessing fell to Jacob rather than to Esau, whofathered their people. Had the Arabs embraced obediently the Saviourand kingly aspects of the Blessing of the Messiah, history would havetaken another course.    These residual resentments became deeply ingrained in the attitudes ofthe Arabs toward Israel, and those resentments spun off in manifold anddiscernible ways as the centuries passed. Scripture is replete withaccounts of the heirs of Ishmael who warred against Israel whilegrowling their determination to “Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.     “For they consulted together with one consent” (Ps. 83:4-5). Their “one consent” was the extermination of the nation of Israel.    Since the days of the Psalmist, Arab determination has not wavered;however, the entrance of the new religion, Islam (Seventh Century A.D.)refined and sanctified the rationale. It then became incumbent tosubjugate or exterminate Jews “in God’s Name.”     A man named Sheikh As’ad Tamimi, who claims leadership of “Islamic Jihad Beit Al-Maqudis,”focused the issue in a recent statement lauding (then) Iraqi PresidentHussein’s tirade in favor of unleashing chemical weapons againstIsrael. “I hope he is as good as his word,” Tamimi said. “The killing of Jews will continue — killing, killing in God’s Name, until they vanish.”    Thus the Allah discovered by Muhammad was a very different god from theGod found in the Bible. Muhammad’s religion, which, in his view, was toreplace Judaism and Christianity, would have a new book (the Koran), anew look, and a new center of worship (Mecca). Jihad      The word “Jihad”is enshrined in the ecstatic vocabulary of the Muslim believer. To killin the name of Allah in Jihad (holy war) is a privilege. To die inJihad is to be assured a place in Heaven. Consequently, militaryconquest became a theological pursuit, and conquered people becamesubjects of Allah.    The religiously fired law of conquest swept Islamic armies into Syria,Israel, Mesopotamia, Egypt, North Africa, and Spain. The advance wasfinally stopped by Charles Martel, grandfather of Charlemagne, outsideParis in A.D. 732. Later Muslim hordes encompassed Europe, moving asfar west as Austria before being defeated in the late SeventeenthCentury.    Subsequently, many of these areas, through erosion or military options,were delivered from Muslim domination. The ultimate affront to Islamicambitions was the deliverance of Jerusalem from the Muslim OttomanTurks by the “Christian” British expeditionary force in 1917, and the return of Jewry to the land after 1948.    Symbolically, the modern State of Israel stands as a constant reminderto rabid fundamentalist Muslims of their humiliation before infidels —a condition that can only be remedied through conquests. Religious dominance     This is a fact of life often misunderstood by those restrained byWestern beliefs and standards, for the issue of land in the Middle Eastis not primarily a territorial matter. It is a question of religiousdominance — the lack of which is intolerable to the Muslim who istaught that Allah is all and is to possess all. This is precisely whythe lies of militant Muslim fundamentalists in Iran were viewed withsuch deep concern — a concern borne out more vividly with every passingday (at that time) by the sight of captive American hostages on thenightly television news broadcasts.    An abiding tenet of Islam is that all lands are to be subject toAllah. Therefore, once a territory is taken, it must remain underMuslim domination. If land is lost, Jihad becomes necessary. Anyconcessions or treaties made with enemies under conditions making itimpossible to restore dominion by force are observed only until meansare available to remedy the situation. A negotiated peace?     For this reason, as Arab spokesmen have repeatedly avowed, anynegotiated peace agreement with Israel will only provide a staging areafrom which to pursue total elimination of the Jewish presence from landclaimed to be sacred to Allah. Hence, the negotiations and peacetreaties with the Palestinians regarding the Gaza Strip, Jericho, andthe West Bank should be looked at accordingly. In such a perpetualstate of conflict, Israelis know all too well what the Western worldmust learn or live to regret — survival against the Muslim onslaughtmeans having a superior strength and the will to use it. Muslim evangelism     Make no mistake about it, Muslims are bent on possessing this planetfor Allah, either by coercion or persuasion. And while, in the firstwave, the swords of Islam were wet with the blood of vanquished “infidels,” a great second wave is now moving across the Western world in the form of Muslim missionary crusaders.     In 1974, at a meeting of the World Muslim League, an “Islamic World Missions Board”was formed. Successes have mounted, and today Islam is one of thefastest growing religions in the world. The Islamic populationworldwide now approaches one billion — not too much short of one out ofevery six people on Earth.    In France, Islam ranks second only to Catholicism. England has receiveda massive influx of Muslims, so many that the face of the landscape hasliterally changed. In 1945, there was one Mosque in England; in 1989,there were over 1,000. London is the site of the largest Mosque inWestern Europe. The story is the same in North America.    The first Mosque in the United States was built in Cedar Rapids, Iowa,in 1934. In 1989, there were approximately 700 Mosques in the UnitedStates. Presently (2005) there are over 2,000. Muslims lay claim tosome seven million adherents to Islam in North America, drawn mostlyfrom the black population. Actually, these converts to Islam in Americacall Christianity “the white man’s religion,” while Islam is called “the black man’s religion.” In1989, the Muslims boasted that they would soon surpass the Jewishpopulation in this country of seven million. They have reached theirgoal. The largest group of international students     Dr. Ishmael Faruqui, not too long ago, challenged Muslims to pursue agoal of fifty million (50,000,000) to seventy-five million (75,000,000)new American converts to Islam. “Only from massive conversion,” Faruqui said, “canwe hope to elect Muslim politicians, appoint Muslim judges, andincorporate the ‘shar’iah’ into the judicial system of America. We musttranscend our minority status to make Islam a dominant force in Americaand the West.”    In this regard, a point to ponder is the fact that students from Islamcountries now form the largest group of international students in NorthAmerican universities and colleges. For the most part, complacentChristians in North America have taken little or no interest in Islam’sadvances. Many, in fact, see the strange looking buildings that arepopping up everywhere, with their curious little crescents, as justanother religious denomination — just neighbors who take a strong standfor morality against some of the things that we too are against.     Such is not the case! Islam is not just another religion in town. Islam is not pluralistic.    (The population numbers above claimed by the Muslims regarding theUnited States do not match the census numbers, which are approximately3 million. The U.S. census is probably far closer to being correct,inasmuch as Muslim claims are greatly suspect.) Muslim fanaticism     While Christians or Jews may lament the loss of one of their own toanother religion, conversion to another religion is, for Muslims, acapital offense. Witness Solomon Rushdie, a Muslim author, who did notconvert but merely questioned Islam, and who, for years, lived under aperpetual death sentence from his brothers, so-called, in the faith. Asis being graphically demonstrated in the Middle East, when Muslimsperceive that they have sufficient strength to take control, Islamwill, in one way or another, attempt to seize it. Louis farrakhan     Louis Farrakhan, of the Nation of Islam, is a case in point. Inmeetings that sometimes draw up to 20,000 mesmerized followers,Farrakhan rails against Jews in general and Christianity in concept. Asstated, he calls Christianity “the white man’s religion.” Althoughhe is not taken seriously in many quarters, Farrakhan and his ilkshould sound a warning of potential danger, and cause people,particularly Christians, to awaken.     Time Magazine warns, “Forthem (Farrakhan’s Muslims), mainstream American values are inherentlyoppressive and racist, to be rejected at the root. That leadership hastended to be fringe. It is fringe no longer. Farrakhan’s audience andappeal are growing. This year he will, for the first time, runcandidates for Congress” (Time Magazine, July 23, 1990).     Is this the raving of a fringe lunatic?     No! It is the rationale of Jihad. The ultimate struggle     The Word of God has forewarned us of the human heart’s capabilities andSatan’s bellicose attempts to thwart the Gospel and also to destroy theJewish people. Therefore, Muslim intentions — military or missionary —should not surprise, discourage, or distract us.    The point must be made — and reconfirmed — that in the abiding conflictamong the world’s three major religions, there is only one transformingoption. The Jewish people, in concert with Biblical Judaism’s declareddirective, saw the Messiah enter the world. Sadly, Jewry missed theirMessiah, while Islam has missed completely the point of what Godaccomplished in Him.    The ultimate struggle is not territory, nor is it the satisfactionderived from destroying or subjecting people deemed weaker orinferior. It is instead the liberation that comes through Faith inJesus Christ, and Jesus Christ Alone! Muhammad sought an alternative toJudaism and Christianity. He succeeded only in leading millions deeperinto spiritual darkness. The knowledge that fresh millions are beingled along the same path should awaken Christians to the need forincreased world missions and intensified Evangelistic efforts.    If one ever chances to look at a picture of the thousands of Muslims ontheir faces around the sacred Kaba in Mecca, so-called, surely he willbe moved with a deep sense of sadness. They are kneeling in the wrongplace, before an inanimate object that can bring neither light, norlife, nor peace. Their only hope of Salvation is that they would bow atthe feet of the Lord Jesus Christ — King of kings and Lord of lords(Jn. 3:3; 14:6; Rom. 10:8-9, 13).     “And being found in fashion as a Man, He humbled Himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the Cross.     “Wherefore God also has highly exalted Him, and given Him a Name which is above every name:     “That at the Name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in Heaven, and things in Earth, and things under the Earth;     “And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the Glory of God the Father” (Phil. 2:8-11). Some particulars regarding islam     •    Jerusalem is the third holiest place in Islam, after Mecca andMedina — both in Saudi Arabia. Tradition has it that the ProphetMuhammad journeyed at night from Mecca to Jerusalem’s Al-Aqsa Mosque,and from there ascended to Heaven on a winged horse.    • About 90 percent of all Muslims are Sunnis — considered the OrthodoxSect. Of the dissident sects of Islam, the largest and most importantare Shiites — fundamentalists, as in Iran. A split came in A.D. 680over the dreadful manner in which Sunnis tortured and killed Shiiteleader Caliph Yazid.    • Some seventy sects and offshoots of Islam have arisen because ofdoctrinal differences, which, in some cases, are irreconcilable.    • Muslims recognize the Torah (first five Books of the Old Testament),the Psalms, and the Gospels of the New Testament; however, they believethat only the Koran preserves the truth as it was given by God. It is,therefore, the only true book.    • The Koran speaks of a line of Prophets, beginning with Adam andending with Muhammad. Both Jesus and Moses, according to the Muslims,are part of this line, although they vehemently deny the Deity ofChrist.     • Muslims vehemently reject the Christian Doctrine of the Trinity as sinful and blasphemous.    • In Islam, there is no separation between the religious and thesecular. All Islamic nations ostensibly declare their adherence to thatconcept.    • The concept of Islamic Law is all-inclusive. It embraces all aspectsof human life and endeavor, both private and public, devotional andsecular, civil and criminal.    • Jihad, meaning striving or struggle, is a term that has acquired theIslamic connotation of religious or holy war. Today, however, Jihad hasdeveloped into a broader context of striving for the common well-beingof Islam and Muslims, and not necessarily exclusively by military terms.     • The birth rate in Islam countries is 42 per 1,000, while in the Western world it is only 13 per 1,000.      (Much of the information Is There more than One way to God?

By Frances Swaggart“For God so loved the world that Hegave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should notperish, but have Everlasting Life” (Jn. 3:16). God’s Word tells us that without theshedding of blood there is no remission of sin (Heb. 9:22). Fallenhumanity’s only choice then, is find blood that is pure, untainted bysin, and, thereby, able to take our place in death. Thank the Lord,that Blood has been provided! We must ever let it be known that it wasthe Lord Jesus Christ who was the Only One Worthy, the Only One whoseBlood can wash clean the souls of men! Death was the price for sin, and it was Jesus, Hallelujah, whopaid this price and died in the place of those who would come toHim! “For the wages of sin is death; but the Gift of God is EternalLife through Jesus Christ our Lord” (Rom. 6:23). Jesus is withoutquestion the One and Only Way to God! Revelation 13:8 says that Jesuswas the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. None can berescued from Hell who refuse the Blood of God’s Only Son. CHRIST ALONE! The reason human beings experience asense of distance or disconnect with God is because of our sin. God’sHoliness prevents Him from fellowshipping with unrighteousness. Yousee, man cannot save himself, because all men have inherited a sinnature. Neither can one man die for another. Not even the death of aninnocent animal is enough. In the Old Testament, the Lord institutedthe animal sacrifices, but this only served as a temporary covering forsin until Christ would completely take sin away. “For it is notpossible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins”(Heb 10:4). Yet, even in this temporary situation, God always only hadone specific place, one Tabernacle, and/or one Brazen Altar in which Hewould accept the sacrifices. His Conditions were designed to typify theSacrifice of Christ which was to come. Some depraved individualsthroughout history even tried sacrificing babies upon evil heathenaltars in a desperate attempt to atone for sin. But, Christ Alone wasspotless, making Him the only suitable Sacrifice for our sin. EternalLife and Salvation is only available to those who identify with Hissubstitutionary Death at Calvary! “Therefore we are buried with Him bybaptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead bythe Glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness oflife” (Rom. 6:4). JESUS, THE ONLY WAY TO GOD Tragically, however, we have many inboth the church and the world today who are teaching that there is morethan one way to God. These say that as long as you sincerely pursuegoodness in your life and follow your conscience to the best of yourability, whatever path you take will ultimately lead you to God andbring you to Heaven one day. These individuals could make no greatermistake! It may be hard in this modern age, with all our creaturecomforts, entertainments, and distractions to comprehend the direconsequences of sin. Yet, it is the actual reason our physical bodiesdie, and spiritually-speaking we are already “. . . dead in trespassesand sins” (Eph. 2:1). But, unlike the Jews, we do not have to watch thefires consume the flesh of the animal sacrifices. Nor do we have tophysically apply the blood of an innocent lamb across the doorposts ofour homes to escape an Angel of Death like the Jews did in Egypt (Ex.,Chpt. 12). And, we did not see God strike dead the priests who offeredup “strange fire” to Him (Lev.10:1-2), meaning their offering failed totypify Christ’s Sacrifice. The Lord allowed such vivid events, however,to try to show man the spiritual magnitude that Christ’s Death on theCross would have. It was, in fact, the Only Way God could have everreached us! A DANGEROUS DIRECTION Sadly, one of most outspokenproponents that Jesus is not the Only Way to God is OprahWinfrey. Although raised Baptist, she has come to embrace an entirelydifferent and dangerous spirituality. This is not only sad for the sakeof Oprah’s soul, but also for the souls of the many she is now leadingastray. Several years ago, on her own program, Oprah emphaticallystated that, “there couldn’t possibly be just one way!” Here is theresulting dialogue when a woman in the audience reminded her of Jesus. Oprah (speaking to the woman in theaudience): “Do you think that if you are somewhere on the planet andyou never hear the name of Jesus, but yet you live with a loving heart,you lived as Jesus would have had you to live, you lived for the samepurpose that Jesus came to the planet to teach us all, but you are insome remote part of the earth and you never heard the name of Jesus,you cannot get to Heaven, you think?!” Woman: “God knows the heart.”Oprah: “Does God care about your heart or does God care whether you call His Son Jesus?”Woman: “Jesus cannot come back until that Gospel is preached in the four corners of          this earth, so, you know, figure it out.”Oprah:            “Ok, I can’t get into a religious argument with you.” What a sarcastic statement Oprah ends this conversation with, as if she had not been having a religious discussion all along!1 WITHOUT EXCUSE Thank God, we still have a few braveChristians in this world. I’m sure this lady in the audience had noidea how far-reaching her defense of Jesus would be that day. Andthough this lady was right, in that the Gospel will be preached to thefour corners of the Earth, according to Scripture, it is also true thateven if someone does not hear the Name of Jesus, they still standbefore God without excuse!  “For the invisible things of Him from thecreation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the thingsthat are made, even His Eternal Power and Godhead; so that they arewithout excuse” (Rom. 1:20). “Behold, the former things are come topass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell youof them” (Isa. 42:9). God does not fail to make Himself known tous. This lady was also correct in that God knows our hearts. If ourheart is truly seeking Him and is repentant of sin, then it is the jobof the Holy Spirit to lead us to Christ and His Cross! The Holy Spirit,who is God, will never fail to lead us to Jesus! “Howbeit when He, theSpirit of Truth, is come, He will guide you into all Truth: for Heshall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall Hespeak: and He will show you things to come. He shall glorify Me(Christ): for He shall receive of Mine, and shall show it unto you. Allthings that the Father has are Mine: therefore said I, that He shalltake of Mine, and shall show it unto you” (Jn. 16:13-15). Christiansshould never apologize for their Faith in the Glorious Gospel of ourLord! God is Just, and He will always do what is fair and right in thelife of every person on the Planet! DIFFERENT ROUTES? In an October 26, 2004 ABC Newsinterview with Charles Gibson, President George Bush responds to thequestion of whether or not Christians and Muslims worship the same God: “I think we do. We have differentroutes of getting to the Almighty . . . But I want you to understand, Iwant your listeners to understand, I don’t get to decide who goes toHeaven. The Almighty God decides who goes to Heaven and I am on mypersonal walk.” President Bush, who has professed tobe a Born-Again Christian, also made this heretical statement in aninterview on Al Arabiya television: “I believe in an almighty God, and Ibelieve that all the world, whether they be Muslim, Christian, or anyother religion, prays to the same God . . . I believe there is auniversal God. I believe the God that the Muslim prays to is the sameGod that I pray to. After all, we all came from Abraham. I believe inthat universality.”2 Let’s now look right within theprofessing Christian Church itself. Here is a television dialoguebetween Billy Graham and Robert Schuller on May 31, 1998 (as reportedin the May-June 1997, Foundation magazine): Schuller:         Tell me, what do you think is the future of Christianity?Graham:         Well,Christianity and being a true believer, you know, I think there’s theBody of Christ which comes from all the Christian groups around theworld or outside the Christian groups. I think everybody that lovesChrist, or knows Christ, whether they’re conscious of it or not,they’re members of the Body of Christ . . . And that’s what God isdoing today, He’s calling people out of the world for His name, whetherthey come from the Muslim world, or the Buddhist world, or theChristian world, or the non-believing world, they are members of theBody of Christ because they’ve been called by God. They may not evenknow the name of Jesus, but they know in their hearts that they needsomething that they don’t have, and they turn to the only light thatthey have, and I think that they are saved, and that they’re going tobe with us in Heaven.Schuller: Well, what I hearyou saying, that it’s possible for Jesus Christ to come into humanhearts and soul and life, even if they’ve been born in darkness andhave never had exposure to the Bible. Is that a correct interpretationof what you’re saying?Graham: Yes, it is, because Ibelieve that. I’ve met people in various parts of the world in tribalsituations, that they have never seen a Bible or heard about a Bible,and never heard of Jesus, but they’ve believed in their hearts thatthere was a God, and they’ve tried to live a life that was quite apartfrom the surrounding community in which they lived.Schuller: This is fantastic! I’m so thrilled to hear you say that! There’s a wideness in God’s mercy!Graham: There is. There definitely is. Actually, the Roman Catholicuniversal catechism, page 224; paragraph 847 says almost exactly thesame thing: “Those who, through no fault of their own, do not know theGospel of Christ or his church, but who nevertheless seek God with asincere heart and, moved by grace, try in their actions to do his willas they know it through the dictates of their conscience, those too mayachieve eternal salvation.”3 This is also very similar to Oprah’sresponse to the woman in her audience that if a person tries to begood, sincere, and loving, they can make it to Heaven withoutChrist. But again, no amount of good works can atone for sin! It tookthe Death of a Perfect Sacrifice! In a June 16, 2005 CNN interview with Larry King, Billy Graham made these statements: King:   “But what about thosefaiths, the Mormons and the others that you mentioned, believe inChrist. They believe they will meet Christ. What about those like theJews, the Muslims, who don’t believe they. . . .”Graham: “That’s in God’s hands. I can’t be the judge.”King: “You don’t judge them?”Graham: “No.”King:   “How do you feel. . . .”Graham: “. . . going to Hell and all that.”King:   “How do you feel whenyou see a lot of these strong Christian leaders go on television andsay, you are condemned, you will live in Hell if you do not acceptJesus Christ, and they are forceful and judgmental?”Graham:  “Well, they have aright to say that, and they are true to a certain extent, but I don’t-- that’s not my calling. My calling is to preach the love of God andthe forgiveness of God and the fact that He does forgive us. That’swhat the cross is all about, what the resurrection is all about, that’sthe Gospel. And you can get off on all kinds of different side trends,and in my earlier ministry, I did the same, but as I got older, I guessI became more mellow and more forgiving and more loving. . . .” ONE NAME ONLY! This is quite shocking, because theBible makes it completely clear that Salvation comes by One Nameonly! Matthew 7:14 says, “Because strait is the gate, and narrow is theway, which leads unto life, and few there be that find it.” Acts 4:12says, “Neither is there Salvation in any other: for there is none othername under Heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” In Acts16:30-31, a prison guard asks Paul and Silas this question when he seesthat the Power of God had broken their prison bands: “. . . Sirs, whatmust I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ,and you shall be saved, and your house.” The list of Scriptures go onand on: “He who has the Son has Life; and he who has not the Son of Godhas not Life” (I Jn. 5:12). “Jesus said unto him, I am the Way, theTruth, and the Life: no man comes unto the Father, but by Me” (Jn.14:6). “Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say untoyou, I am the Door of the Sheep. All who ever came before Me arethieves and robbers: but the Sheep did not hear them.  I am theDoor: by Me if any man enter in, he shall be Saved, and shall go in andout, and find pasture” (Jn. 10:7-9). We hope that these confusingstatements made by Billy Graham in recent years are due to some of themedical complications he has experienced, because in Graham’s earlyministry, he clearly preached that Jesus was the only way! However, wemust warn those who would take his recent statements to heart and headdown the path of apostasy as a result of their confidence in Graham. SIN! What so many of these leaders havedone, is avoid the subject of sin altogether or somehow redefine it sothat the solution can be something other than Christ. In “Self-Esteem,The New Reformation,” Robert Schuller wrote, “Salvation is defined asrescue from shame to glory. It is salvation from guilt to pride, fromfear to love, from distrust to faith, from hypocrisy to honesty . . .So lack of trust or a lack of self-worth is the central core ofsin.”4 Schuller’s statement here sounds very similar to what Oprahdescribed in Marianne Williamson’s book, “A Return To Love.” Shedescribed how New Age guru, Williamson, spoke of salvation as choosingto move in the direction of love (light) rather than moving in thedirection of fear (darkness).5 Again, man cannot choose Salvationthrough correct action; it took the Blood of the Lamb! By completelydismissing their need for a Savior, these leaders dismiss Jesus as theOnly Way to God. Lord, help us all to recognize our need for the SavingBlood of Jesus!  1

Barack says we need to have aconversation about race in America. Fair enough. But this time, it hasto be a two-way conversation. White America needs to be heard from, notjust lectured to. This time, the Silent Majority needs to have itsconvictions, grievances and demands heard. And among them are these: First, America has been the bestcountry on earth for black folks. It was here that 600,000 blackpeople, brought from Africa in slave ships, grew into a community of 40million, were introduced to Christian salvation, and reached thegreatest levels of freedom and prosperity blacks have ever known.Wright ought to go down on his knees and thank God he is an American. Second, no people anywhere has donemore to lift up blacks than white Americans. Untold trillions have beenspent since the ‘60s on welfare, food stamps, rent supplements, Section8 housing, Pell grants, student loans, legal services, Medicaid, EarnedIncome Tax Credits and poverty programs designed to bring theAfrican-American community into the mainstream. Governments, businessesand colleges have engaged in discrimination against white folks—withaffirmative action, contract set-asides and quotas—to advance blackapplicants over white applicants. Churches, foundations, civic groups,schools and individuals all over America have donated their time andmoney to support soup kitchens, adult education, day care, retirementand nursing homes for blacks. We hear the grievances. Where is the gratitude??? Barack talks about new ‘ladders ofopportunity’ for blacks. Let him go to Altoona? And Johnstown, and askwhite kids in Catholic schools how many were visited lately by IvyLeague recruiters handing out scholarships for ‘deserving’ white kids.?Is white America really responsible for the fact that the crime andincarceration rates for African-American are seven times those of whiteAmerica? Is it really white America’s fault that illegitimacy in theAfrican-American community has hit 70 percent and the black dropoutrate from high schools in some cities has reached 50 percent? Is that the fault of white America or, first and foremost, a failure of the black community itself? As for racism, its ugliestmanifestation is in interracial crime, and especially interracialcrimes of violence. Is Barack Obama aware that while white criminalschoose black victims 3 percent of the time, black criminals chose whitevictims 45 percent of the time? Is Barack aware that black-on-whiterapes are 100 times more common than the reverse, that black-on-whiterobberies were 139 times as common in the first three years of thisdecade as the reverse?We have all heard ad nauseam from theRev. Al about Tawana Brawley, the Duke rape case and Jena. And allturned out to be hoaxes. But about the epidemic of black assaults onwhites that are real, we hear nothing. Sorry, Barack, some of us have heard it all before, about 40 years and 40 trillion tax dollars ago. We are a Christian Nation…even if Mr. Obama says we are not!

RED ALERT -- La Raza: "If the American people found out..."

“Suzanne", a female caller to Mark Levin's show on June 25th, revealed the ominous secret of the Democrat health care reform effort. Iwant to tell you that last week I attended a conference on health carereform sponsored by La Raza. And I will tell you that what they had tosay, Mark, is scarier than anything that's been said so far on thehealth care plan.The kind of comments that were made and the notes that I took...they started the conference out by saying "America does not need healthcare reform, but Latino immigrants need health care reform."

And someone from Menendez' office [Ed.:

Sen. Robert Menendez, D-NJ] promised that he would make sure that "the useless barriers of citizenship would not be in this bill" and that he would make sure that they would use keywords like "streamline"...It was La Raza, the Childrens Defense Fund and Senator Menendez from New Jersey, a representative from his office...

...Yes [they said they would get free health care for illegal aliens], these are my notes, Mark. They actually got up and said "Latino children need health care more than whites".And then they would say things like "you must go out into yourcommunities, use words like 'streamline', use phrases like 'allworkers' and 'all families'," because they said -- and I quote -- "If the American people find out that this bill is about giving health care to non-citizens, they will rise up against it."...One of the quotes they said was, "We want to make sure we takecare of barriers like verification, but we can streamline programs tothe more affluent" and, quote, "Useless treatments for the elderly can be gone because we don't need to spend money for people who are going to die anyway."

That's a direct quote from that meeting. They also said, "We arevery concerned there will be an effort to include" the illegalimmigrants in this argument, so "we must make sure that we focus this"to the American people that it's looking like we want "health care foreveryone".

And they also said that 75% of the children who will be picked up in this will be non-citizens and that 44% of the uninsured are non-citizens and they can't possibly allow the American people to know this." [Ed: Oops!]

Menendez' office said that he's going to make sure that "a family of four that makes $66,000 a year or less will pay nothing at allfor the new health care. And he was the one who said he was going toget rid of specifics like "citizenship status" and focus on, quote,"equity for all workers".

And he said he's going to make sure that the Latino immigrants are the focus of the health care reform.

And La Raza said if they get this, they don't even care about amnesty, because they've fixed it so that one family member can apply for all extended family members.And... Mark, if you think we have a problem with illegal immigrationnow, wait 'til you see the borders when this thing gets passed.

 "If the American people found out?"Gee, what a surprise. A group that preaches racial superiority anddivisiveness wants to enact a stealth illegal immigration bill -- notdissimilar to chain migration. The bill will reward illegal immigrationto the direct detriment of all American taxpayers and especially the elderly.

Kind of puts Judge Sotomayor's membership in La Raza in a new light, doesn't it?

Groups like La Raza encourage the Balkanization of America.They promote mutually hostile political groups that do not form a"melting pot", that do not utilize a common language, and that do notshare the principles of America's founding.

Fifty years from now, if La Raza gets its way, America will look more like Yugoslavia in 1993 than America.

That’s how much a government commission with the Orwellian acronymNICE has decided British government-run health care will pay for oneadditional year of life for a British subject.

Think it could never happen here?  Then you need to pay closer attention to what Washington is planning for your health care.

British Government Bureaucrats Literally Decide if Your Life is Worth Living

TheBritish single-payer bureaucrats arrived at the price of an additionalyear of life in the same way they decide how much health care allBritish people will get, through a formula called “quality-adjustedlife years.”

That means that if you’re sick in Great Britain, governmentbureaucrats literally decide if your life is worth living and, if so,how much longer and at what cost.

If it’s more than $45,000, you’re out of luck.

A Well-Connected White House Advocate for Allocating Health Care Based on Perceived Societal Worth

In the highest levels of the Obama Administration there is a theoryof how to ration health care that is troublingly reminiscent of theBritish system of “quality-adjusted life years.”

Dr. Ezekial Emanuel is a key health care advisor to President Obamaand the brother of White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel. Earlierthis year, Dr. Emanuel wrote an article that advocated what he called“the complete lives system” as a method for rationing health care.  Youcan read it here.

The system advocated by Dr. Emanuel would allocate health care basedon the government’s perception of the societal worth of the patients. Accordingly, the very young and the very old would receive less caresince the former have received less societal investment and the latterhave less left to contribute.

“Forstall[ing] the Concern that Disproportionate Amounts of Resources Will be Directed to Young People with Poor Prognosis”

“The Complete Lives System” would also consider the prognosis of the individual.  

Quoting Dr. Emanuel:  “A young person with a poor prognosis has hadfew life-years but lacks the potential to live a complete life. Considering prognosis forestalls the concern that disproportionatelylarge amounts of resources will be directed to young people with poorprognosis.”

When fully implemented, Dr. Emanuel’s system, in his words,“produces a priority curve on which individuals aged between roughly 15and 40 years get the most substantial chance, whereas the youngest andoldest people get chances that are attenuated.”

“Chances that are attenuated” is a nice way of saying the young andthe old are considered less worthy of health care and, under thissystem, will get less.

Once Government Becomes the Provider of Health Care, Personal Decisions Become Public Decisions

Thepoint is not that a health care rationing system like the one favoredby Dr. Emmanuel will be implemented in the United States tomorrow.

The point is that, as in the British system, once government becomesthe single payer or even the main payer of health care, what were onceintensely personal decisions become public decisions.  And as costsrise, government will look for ways to contain them.  

The inevitable result of this pressure to control costs will berationing, whether it occurs during this administration or the next. At some point, the government will be forced to deny care to those whodon’t meet the latest “quality-adjusted life years” cost-benefitanalysis.

So the decision on what treatment to pursue that once would havebeen made by you and your doctor is now made for you by a bureaucratusing a formula -- a formula to literally determine if your life isworth saving.

The Camel’s Nose Under the Tent of Health Care Rationing

Societies don’t arrive at this point overnight.

British health care was nationalized soon after World War II, butNICE, the health care rationing agency, wasn’t created until the late1990s as a way to control costs.

Today NICE routinely denies Britons life-prolonging drugs that aredeemed not “cost effective” -- drugs that are widely prescribed inAmerica to treat cancer, Alzheimer’s disease and other seriousconditions.

The result, studies show, is that Great Britain’s cancer survivalrates are among the worst in Europe and lag behind the United States.

In America, Rationing Begins with Comparative Effectiveness Research (CER)

Inour country, the road to dehumanizing, bureaucratic health carerationing begins with something called comparative effectivenessresearch (CER).  It sounds completely innocent.  In practice, CER meanscomparing different treatments for diseases to see which works best. And what doctor or patient would object to that, right?

The problem is that, in the context of a government-run health caresystem, comparative effectiveness research becomes a way to find acheaper, one-size-fits-all approach to medicine that will limit healthcare choices for patients.

But don’t just take my word for it.  Congressional Democratsincluded $1.1 billion in the Stimulus Bill for CER.  Report languageexplaining the bill noted that the treatments found to be “moreexpensive” as result of the research “will no longer be prescribed” andthat “guidelines” should be developed to manage doctors.  

Congressional Democrats also killed several amendments to thecurrent health care bill that would have prevented CER from being usedto ration care.  (To learn more about the common-sense amendments tothe bill that have been blocked, click here).

The Government Has Determined You Must Take the Blue Pill

President Obama innocuously described the intended result ofcomparative effectiveness research like this:  “If there’s a blue pilland a red pill, and the blue pill is half the price of the red pill andworks just as well, why not pay half price for the thing that’s goingto make you well?”

Listen to what the President is saying here.  He’s saying that thegovernment is capable of determining which pill works best for you andshould therefore only pay for that pill.

But this one-size-fits-all approach goes against everything modernmedicine is learning about the genetics of the human body.  Differentindividuals and members of different ethnic and age groups responddifferently to treatments.  More and more, treatment of diseases likecancer is highly individualized and based on a genetic analysis of boththe patient and her disease.  Science is leading us in one directionand the administration and the Congress are taking us in the other.

What if you get sick and your doctor says you need the red pill, butthe government has determined that the blue pill is what works best forits budget?  In a single payer health world, what do you do then?

Creating a Commission to do the Dirty Work

Governmentbureaucrats limiting health care choices is terribly unpopular ofcourse, which is why politicians use terms like “comparativeeffectiveness research” instead of “rationing.”

Another method Washington uses to avoid complicity in health carerationing is the creation of government boards or commissions -- likeBritain’s NICE -- to do the job for them.

President Obama has expressed his supportfor using the Medicare Payment Advisory Commission (MedPAC), acommission created to advise Congress on Medicare, to achieve costsavings under health care reform.

Because the commission’s decisions could only be over-ridden by ajoint resolution of Congress, it would be virtually unaccountable tothe people -- and nervous members of Congress could blame thecommission for unpopular decisions.

Combine this kind of a commission with the “complete lives system”advocated by White House health care advisor Dr. Ezekial Emanuel andyou end up with a government rationing board literally determiningwhich Americans should live and which should die.

Just Trust the Government

Supportersof government-run health care dismiss these worries as alarmist.  Theyargue that because their big government health care bill doesn’tovertly call for rationing, it is somehow illegitimate to talk aboutthis danger.

But it is always legitimate to consider the long-term consequencesof a government program.  By refusing to have an honest debate of thisissue -- to explore honestly the consequences of the “painful choices”that all supporters of government health care say must be made -- theirargument boils down to nothing more than this:

Trust the government.

Trust the politicians who are passing 1000-page bills they haven’t read.

Trust the leaders who are demonizing the citizens seeking to express their disagreement by calling them “un-American.”

Trust the advisors who advocate sacrificing the weak and the old and then hide in the shadows.

Trust the government to know what’s best for the most intimate, most personal part of you and your family’s life: your health.

Go ask a British citizen if it’s worth it.  

To just shut up and trust the government.

The President: Hello everyone – how’s everybody doingtoday? I’m here with students at Wakefield High School inArlington,Virginia. And we’ve got students tuning in from allacross America,kindergarten through twelfth grade. I’m glad you allcould join us today.

I know that for many of you, today is the first day of school. Andfor those of you in kindergarten, or starting middle or high school,it’s your first day in a new school, so it's understandable ifyou’re a little nervous. I imagine there are some seniors out therewho are feeling pretty good right now, with just one more year to go.And no matter what grade you’re in, some of you are probablywishing it were still summer, and you could’ve stayed in bed just alittle longer this morning.

I know that feeling. When I was young, my family lived inIndonesia for a few years, and my mother didn’t have the money tosend me where all the American kids went to school. So she decided toteach me extra lessons herself, Monday through Friday – at 4:30 inthe morning. (He is now trying to gain ground with the childrenthat live in tough times.)

Now I wasn’t too happy about getting up that early. A lot oftimes, I’d fall asleep right there at the kitchen table. Butwhenever I’d complain, my mother would just give me one of thoselooks and say, "This is no picnic for me either, buster."

So I know some of you are still adjusting to being back at school.But I’m here today because I have something important to discusswith you. I’m here because I want to talk with you about youreducation and what’s expected of all of you in this new schoolyear.

Now I’ve given a lot of speeches about education. And I’vetalked a lot about responsibility.

I’ve talked about your teachers’ responsibility for inspiringyou, and pushing you to learn.

I’ve talked about your parents’ responsibility for making sureyou stay on track, and get your homework done, and don’t spendevery waking hour in front of the TV or with that Xbox. (Thesewords are harmless but he slides in his agenda and you will see herin a minute how.)

I’ve talked a lot about your government’s responsibility forsetting high standards, supporting teachers and principals, andturning around schools that aren’t working where students aren’tgetting the opportunities they deserve.

But at the end of the day, we can have the most dedicatedteachers, the most supportive parents, and the best schools in theworld – and none of it will matter unless all of you fulfill yourresponsibilities. (What are our children's responsibilities. Thebible gives our children one thing to live by, and that is to HonorYour Father and Mother, for your days will be prolonged upon thisearth. What else do our children have to do?) Unless you show upto those schools; pay attention to those teachers (Most of theseteachers are teaching, Religious acceptation, Evolution, The DarwinTheory, They are teaching the Big Bang Theory, and they tell ourstudents that they have no right to speak about what they believe ifthey are Christians, but if you are Muslim, or Buddhist, it is okay,but anything about God is not allowed. Why should our childrenbelieve this. They should be listing with the ears of God, not theears of teachers of this world. );listen to your parents,grandparents and other adults( Other adults, what other adultsshould they listen to? He is not giving good ground here. What ifthat adult is a pedifile or a child molester, should they listen tothem because they are an adult. What if they are teaching ourchildren false doctrine and lies, should they still listen. I askObama what do you mean by this statement?); and put in the hardwork it takes to succeed.

And that’s what I want to focus on today: the responsibilityeach of you has for your education. I want to start with theresponsibility you have to yourself.

Every single one of you has something you’re good at. Everysingle one of you has something to offer. And you have aresponsibility to yourself to discover what that is.(It is truethat children have a calling from God but he has left God out of it.God has called them, they should seek God for that answer not anyoneelse.) That’s the opportunity an education can provide.

Maybe you could be a good writer – maybe even good enough towrite a book or articles in a newspaper – but you might not know ituntil you write a paper for your English class. Maybe you could be aninnovator or an inventor – maybe even good enough to come up withthe next iPhone or a new medicine or vaccine – but you might notknow i t until you do a project for your science class. Maybe youcould be a mayor or a Senator or a Supreme Court Justice, but youmight not know that until you join student government or the debateteam.

And no matter what you want to do with your life – I guaranteethat you’ll need an education to do it. You want to be a doctor, ora teacher, or a police officer? You want to be a nurse or anarchitect, a lawyer or a member of our military? You’re going toneed a good education for every single one of those careers. Youcan’t drop out of school and just drop into a good job. You’vegot to work for it and train for it and learn for it. ( I agreethat an good education is a key to a good job, but when Education isplaced over the knowledge and relationship with God it is wrong.)

And this isn’t just important for your own life and your ownfuture. What you make of your education will decide nothingness thanthe future of this country. (Now he throws in Socialism, He issaying it does not matter what you want to do, or what God wants youto do, you should do what the government wants you to do.) Whatyou’re learning in school today will determine whether we as anation can meet our greatest challenges in the future.(This is nottrue. What you decide about your soul and your life in Christ Jesuswill determine the outcome of our being. He is more or less sayingdon't ask what we can do for you, ask what you can do for us. NotGod, not you, but them.)

You’ll need the knowledge and problem-solving skills you learnin science and math to cure diseases like cancer and AIDS,  (Hethrough science in there because of the down grading of God. Sciencedoes everything it can to prove there is no God, or at least makepeople believe God is not real.) and to develop new energytechnologies and protect our environment. (Now he through in theLiberal Views of us destroying the earth. WE can not harm the earth,God is the Creator, we can not destroy it. We are not God. Also thesepeople place more value of life on a tree or a animal rather than ahuman.) You’ll need the insights and critical thinking skillsyou gain in history and social studies to fight poverty andhomelessness, crime and discrimination,( There has beenmore of a racist issue since Obama has became president than anyother time in our life. It is more at growth than what it was in the1970's. What is he talking about. He is the reason racism is grown ata high count.) and make our nation more fair and more free. (Ournation use to be more fair and more free, but since Obama has cameinto office we have seen our economy and our nation become less free.Our freedom of speech is limited more than it has ever been. He ismonitoring the internet, the TV, and the radio to make sure nothinghe don't want said is said. That means Christians have not got theright to speak their mind.) You’ll need the creativity andingenuity you develop in all your classes to build new companies thatwill create new jobs and boost our economy.(Our Economy was greatuntil we voted in a Democratic and Liberal congress in 2 1/2 yearsinto Bush's running, Now it is even worse now that we have a LiberalMuslim President.)

We need every single one of you to develop your talents, skillsand intellect so you can help solve our most difficult problems. Ifyou don’t do that – if you quit on school –you’re not justquitting on yourself, you’re quitting on your country.(Now it isall about our Country. More or less, it does not matter what you wantto do, you need to do it for your country, not God, Not yourself butour country. This is Socialism, this is seen in Russia and othercountries and it is now moving in to live in our country and they areattacking our children first and foremost.)

Now I know it’s not always easy to do well in school. I know alot of you have challenges in your lives right now that can make ithard to focus on your school work. (It is good to do well inSchool, but to focus only on your school work, why not focus on theWill of God.)

I get it. I know what that’s like. My father left my family whenI was two years old, and I was raised by a single mother whostruggled at times to pay the bills and wasn’t always able to giveus things the other kids had. There were times when I missed having afather in my life. There were times when I was lonely and felt like Ididn’t fit in.(Now he targets the fatherless)

So I wasn’t always as focused as I should have been. I did somethings I’m not proud of, and got in more trouble than I shouldhave. And my life could have easily taken a turn for the worse.

But I was fortunate. I got a lot of second chances and had theopportunity to go to college, and law school, and follow my dreams.(What are Obama's Dreams. Who gave him a second Chance?) Mywife, our First Lady Michelle Obama, has a similar story. Neither ofher parents had gone to college, and they didn’t have much. Butthey worked hard, and she worked hard, so that she could go to thebest schools in this country.

Some of you might not have those advantages. Maybe you don’thave adults in your life who give you the support that you need.Maybe someone in your family has lost their job, and there’s notenough money to go around. Maybe you live in a neighborhood where youdon’t feel safe, or have friends who are pressuring you to dothings you know aren’t right.

But at the end of the day, the circumstances of your life – whatyou look like, where you come from, how much money you have, whatyou’ve got going on at home – that’s no excuse for neglectingyour homework or having a bad attitude. That’s no excuse fortalking back to your teacher, or cutting class, or dropping out ofschool. That’s no excuse for not trying.

Where you are right now doesn’t have to determine where you’llend up. No one’s written your destiny for you. Here in America, youwrite your own destiny.(We do not write our own destiny, God does,He makes it as if we can earn our way to heaven we can make thingshappen, but no we can't do anything except by and through God. )You make your own future.(This is blaspheming and an Abominationto God. We do not control our futures, only God controls the future.)

That’s what young people like you are doing every day, allacross America.

Young people like Jasmine Perez, from Roma, Texas. Jasmine didn’tspeak English when she first started school. Hardly anyone in herhometown went to college, and neither of her parents had gone either.But she worked hard, earned good grades, got a scholarship to BrownUniversity, and is now in graduate school, studying public health, onher way to being Dr. Jazmin Perez.(Who is this person what do theystand for. We should look at who he is using as examples for ourchildren to look up to. What is her beliefs?)

I’m thinking about Andoni Schultz, from Los Altos, California,who’s fought brain cancer since he was three. He's endured allsorts of treatments and surgeries, one of which affected his memory,so it took him much longer – hundreds of extra hours – too hisschoolwork. But he never fell behind, and he’s headed to collegethis fall.(Who is this and what is their belief standards, Whatkind of person are they really?)

And then there’s Shantell Steve, from my home town of Chicago,Illinois. Even when bouncing from foster home to foster home in thetoughest neighborhoods, she managed to get a job at a local healthcenter; start a program to keep young people out of gangs; and she’son track to graduate high school with honors and go on to college.(Who is she and what does she stand for?)

Jasmineee, Andoni and Shantell aren’t any differenfro manyny ofyou. They faced challenges in their lives just like you do. Butt (Whywas two tt's used here? Correct English would have been one T)hey refused to give up. They chose to take responsibility for theireducation and set goals for themselves. And I expect all of you to dothe same.(now he is telling our children to be like these people,people you don't even know. Do we really know who our children lookup to.)

That’s why today, I’m calling on each of you to set your owngoals for your education – and to do everything you can to meetthem. Your goal can be something as simple as doing all yourhomework, paying attention in class, or spending time each dayreading a book. Maybe you’ll decide to get involved in an extracurricular activity, or volunteer in your community.(Socialism) Maybe you’ll decide to standup for kids who are being teased orbullied because of who they are or how they look,(No they arespeechifying of racism again)  because you believe, like Ido, (No Obama we do not believe the way you do. We are not Muslim,we are not abortion activist, we are not socialistic, we are notthat, we are what we are, we don't believe like you do.) that all kids deserve a  safe environment to study and learn.Maybe you’ll decide to take better care of yourself so you can bemore ready to learn. And along those lines, I hope you’ll all washyour hands a lot, and stay home from school when you don’t feelwell, so we can keep people from getting the flu this fall andwinter.

Whatever you resolve to do, I want you to commit to it. I want youto really work at it.

I know that sometimes, you get the sense from TV that you can berich and successful without any hard work -- that your ticket tosuccess is through rapping or basketball or being a reality TV star,when chances are, you’re not going to be any of those things.

But the truth is, being successful is hard. You won’t love everysubject you study. You won’t click with every teacher. Not everyhomework assignment will seem completely relevant to your life rightthis minute. And you won’t necessarily succeed at everything thefirst time you try.

That's OK. Some of the most successful people in the world are theones who've had the most failures. JK Rowling’s first Harry Potterbook was rejected twelve times before it was finally published.( Nowlook at this roll model, a woman that writes about Witch Craft. Whatis he telling our children) Michael Jordan was cut from his highschool basketball team, and he lost hundreds of games and missedthousands of shots during his career. But he once said, "I havefailed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why Isucceed."

These people succeeded because they understand that you can’tlet your failures define you – you have to let them teach you.(Look who he is telling to teach the children. Look at the peoplehe is making roll models for our children. What do they stand for?) You have to let them show you what to do differently next time. Ifyou get in trouble, that doesn’t mean you’re a troublemaker, itmeans you need to try harder to behave. If you get a bad grade, thatdoesn’t mean you’re stupid, it just means you need to spend moretime studying.(Do you see what he is saying here?)

No one’s born being good at things,you become good at thingsthrough hard work. You’re not a varsity athlete the first time youplay a new sport. You don’t hit every note the first time you singa song. You’ve got to practice. It’s the same with yourschoolwork. You might have to do a math problem a few times beforeyou get it right, or read something a few times before you understandit, or do a few drafts of a paper before it’s good enough to handin.

Don’t be afraid to ask questions. Don’t be afraid to ask forhelp when you need it. I do that every day. Asking for help isn’t asign of weakness, it’s a sign of strength. It shows you have thecourage to admit when you don’t know something, and to learnsomething new. So find an adult you trust – a parent, grandparentor teacher; a coach or counselor – and ask them to help you stay ontrack to meet your goals.

And even when you’re struggling, even when you’re discouraged,and you feel like other people have given up on you– don’t evergive up on yourself. Because when you give up on yourself, you giveup on your country.

The story of America isn’t about people who quit when things gottough. It’s about people who kept going, who tried harder, wholoved their country too much to do anything less than their best.

It’s the story of students who sat where you sit 250 years ago,and went on to wage a revolution and found this nation. Students whosat where you sit 75 years ago who overcame a Depression and won aworld war; who fought for civil right sand put a man on the moon.Students who sat where you sit 20 years ago whoo founded Google,Twitter and Facebook and changed the waywe communicatee with eachother. (These things are not so great. )

So today, I want to ask you, what’s your contribution going tobe? What problems are you going to solve?What discoveries will youmake? What will a president who comes here in twenty or fifty or onehundred years say about what all of you did for this country?(Nowhe is going back to socialism and making it about this and not whatit should be about. He is pushing his agenda.)

Your families, your teachers, and I are doing everything we can tomake sure you have the education you need to answer these questions.I’m working hard to fix up your classrooms and get you the books,equipment and computers you need to learn. But you’ve got to doyour part too. So I expect you to get serious this year. I expect youto put your best effort into everything you do. I expect great thingsfrom each of you. So don’t let us down (Don't let them down? Whoare we living for. We should live for God not our government?) –don’t let your family or your country or yourself down. Make us allproud. I know you can do it.(we can do nothing without ChristJesus)

I wanted to share a blessing that God has given us with all our memembers. We are buying a new house. We have been praying for a long time about this and now God is answering our prayers. We signed the Contract on the house yesterday, now in 30 to 45 days the closing will arrive and we will be moving. So much to do, but so much excitement comes along with it. I was thinking about God and all His Amazing Love. You know that when you file taxes each year you can file as Head of Household. I thought to myself when I filed my taxes last year. I really am not Head of Household of my home, God is.

Most people forget to put God first in all things. I never want to fall into this situation. God is the head of my household. He is in charge of everything. When I say everything I mean everything not just something. See my husband and I are married and we are one flesh. But as husband and wife we are also married to Christ. He is the head of this household. As long as God is head of our household everything is going to be okay. He is the best Head, and he always provides, he takes care of all the bills, he takes care of us when we are sick, when we are hurt. He is compassionate and he is always there for us to talk to. He is the best husband anyone can have. He is our provider.

What I am saying is, Is God the Head of your Household? If not, put him in charge and you will see a change in your life. I promise you. God loved us so much that he gave us his only begotten son. Jesus died on the Cross so we could be with him. It is all found at the Cross of Christ, It was all done at the Cross of Christ, Every Problem, Every Situation was taken care of at the Cross, through Christ. So Go to the Cross and make God the Head of your household. You will see a change, a Great Change in your life.

"New Zealand has been veryfortunate. This earthquake anywhere else would have caused hugedamage," Gledhill said. He said the quake's impact will provide"invaluable information" on the underlying structure of the country.

Martin Reyners,principal scientist for GNS Science, said earlier that a shallowtemblor of such magnitude would typically cause widespread damage andloss of life. Last week's quake, however, occurred in "soft rocks"between two tectonic plates, muffling its power, he said.

Reynerssaid the rocks had lurched rather than snapped, causing a low-frequencyrolling rather than the high-frequency waves that are known to damagebuildings.

What is the Swine Flu?

The swine influenza A (H1N1) virus that has infected humans in theU.S. and Mexico is a novel influenza A virus that has not previouslybeen identified in North America. This virus is resistant to theantiviral medications amantadine (Symmetrel) and rimantadine (Flumadine), but is sensitive to oseltamivir (Tamiflu) and zanamivir (Relenza). Investigations of these cases suggest that on-going human-to-human swine influenza A (H1N1) virus is occurring.

What are the symptoms of swine flu?Although uncomplicated influenza-like illness (fever, cough or sore throat) has been reported in many cases, mild respiratory illness (nasal congestion, rhinorrhea) without fever and occasional severe disease also has been reported. Other symptoms reported with swine influenza A virus infection includevomiting,diarrhea, myalgia, headache, chills, fatigue, and dyspnea. Conjunctivitis is rare, but has been reported. Severe disease (pneumonia, respiratory failure) and fatal outcomes have been reported with swine influenza A virus infection. The potential for exacerbation of underlying chronic medical conditions or invasive bacterial infection with swine influenza A virus infection should be considered.

What is the Swine Flu Vaccination?

According to a July 10 Washington Post article,the federal government is considering a mass vaccination campaign thisfall against the H1N1 flu virus. Obama administration officialsannounced this during a “flu summit” at the National Institute ofHealth’s Bethesda, Maryland, campus on July 9. About 500 healthofficials from around the country were in attendance.Approximately 100 million doses of vaccine should be available bymid-October, but another 20 million doses to cover all those deemedmost vulnerable won’t be ready until later in the fall. The federalgovernment has so far spent $1 billion on vaccines and has another $7billion available for purchasing more or implementing othercountermeasures.

The persons considered to be at greatest risk include all children from6 months old to 18 years of age, women who are pregnant, adults withchronic illnesses, and healthcare workers. School-age children would bethe primary target of the program though, and they may receive theirshots at school in large numbers reminiscent of the polio immunizationsof the 1950s.

President Barack Obama spoke at the flu summit via audio link from theGroup of Eight summit in Italy. “We want to make sure that we are notpromoting panic, but we are promoting vigilance and preparation,” hesaid, adding that “the most important thing for us to do is to makesure that state and local officials prepare now to implement avaccination program in the fall.”

Local governments would primarily be in charge of any vaccinationcampaign, but Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebeliussaid that the federal government would provide about $260 million tostates and territories to help them make plans. Another $90 millionwill go to hospitals to help them prepare for a possible increase inthe number of flu patients.

As for the nation’s public school’s being heavily involved invaccinations, Education Secretary Arne Duncan “would absolutelywelcome” the idea. He said that schools are “natural sites” and that“to open our doors and be part of the solution really makes sense.”Thomas R. Frieden, director of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC),confirmed that schools would likely remain open and would not be urgedto close unless the virus proves to be much deadlier than it is now. Hetold the summit participants that “our goals at the moment are fairlystraightforward: reduce illness and minimize social disruption.”

These goals are commendable, but individual freedom and parental rightsshould also be kept in mind. Parents should be allowed to decide forthemselves if their children will be immunized, and parents ought to beinformed of any possible side effects or dangers. After all, 25 peopledied as a result of side effects from swine flu vaccinations in 1976.

It is necessary to keep things in perspective. While the CDC has reported 211 deathsrelated to the H1N1 flu so far this year, they are not clearlyreporting how many died because the flu exacerbated an already existingcondition. On the other hand, the CDC reportsthat influenza and pneumonia combined caused 56,326 deaths in 2006,before the H1N1 virus was a factor. Thus far, this new strain ofinfluenza is nowhere near to claiming that many lives.

"SWINE FLU"

MIKE WALLACE: The flu season is upon us. Which type will we worry aboutthis year, and what kind of shots will we be told to take? Remember the swine flu scare of1976? That was the year the U.S. government told us all that swine flu could turn out tobe a killer that could spread across the nation, and Washington decided that every man,woman and child in the nation should get a shot to prevent a nation-wide outbreak, apandemic.

Well 46 million of us obediently took the shot, and now 4,000 Americansare claiming damages from Uncle Sam amounting to three and a half billion dollars becauseof what happened when they took that shot. By far the greatest number of the claims - twothirds of them are for neurological damage, or even death, allegedly triggered by the flushot.

We pick up the story back in 1976, when the threat posed by the swineflu virus seemed very real indeed.

PRESIDENT GERALD FORD; This virus was the cause of a pandemic in 1918and 1919 that resulted in over half a million deaths in the United States, as well as 20million deaths around the world.

WALLACE: Thus the U.S. government's publicity machine was cranked intoaction to urge all America to protect itself against the swine flu menace. (Excerpt fromTV commercial urging everyone to get a swine flu shot.) One of those who did roll up hersleeve was Judy Roberts. She was perfectly healthy, an active woman, when, in November of1976, she took her shot. Two weeks later, she says, she began to feel a numbness startingup her legs.

JUDY ROBERTS: And I joked about it at that time. I said I'll be numb tothe knees by Friday if this keeps up. By the following week, I was totally paralyzed.

WALLACE: So completely paralyzed, in fact, that they had to operate onher to enable her to breathe. And for six months, Judy Roberts was a quadriplegic. Thediagnosis: A neurological disorder called "Guillian-Barre Syndrome" - GBS forshort. These neurological diseases are little understood. They affect people in differentways.

As you can see in these home movies taken by a friend, Judy Roberts'paralysis confined her mostly to a wheelchair for over a year. But this disease can evenkill. Indeed, there are 300 claims now pending from the families of GBS victims who died,alledgedly as a result of the swine flu shot. In other GBS victims, the crippling effectsdiminish and all but disappear. But for Judy Roberts, progress back to good health hasbeen painful and partial.

Now, I notice that your smile, Judy, is a little bit constricted.

ROBERTS: Yes, it is.

WALLACE: Is it different from what it used to be?

ROBERTS: Very different, I have a – a greatly decreased mobilityin my lips. AndI can't drink through a straw on the right-band side. I can't blow outbirthday candles. I don't whistle any more, for which my husband is grateful.

WALLACE: It may be a little difficult for you to answer this question,but have you recovered as much as you are going to recover?

ROBERTS: Yes. This - this is it.

WALLACE: So you will now have a legacy of braces on your legs for therest of your life?

ROBERTS: Yes. The weakness in my hands will stay and the leg braceswill stay.

WALLACE: So Judy Roberts and her husband have filed a claim against theU.S. government. They're asking $12 million, though they don't expect to get nearly thatmuch. Judy, why did you take the flu shot?

ROBERTS: I'd never taken any other flu shots, but I felt like this wasgoing to be a major epidemic, and the only way to prevent a major epidemic of a - a reallydeadly variety of flu was for every body to be immunized.

WALLACE: Where did this so called "deadly variety of flu",where did it first hit back in 1976? It began right here at Fort Dix in New Jersey inJanuary of that year, when a number of recruits began to complain of respiratory ailments,something like the common cold. An Army doctor here sent samples of their throat culturesto the New Jersey Public Health Lab to find our just what kind of bug was going aroundhere. One of those samples was from a Private David Lewis, who had left his sick bed to goon a forced march. Private Lewis had collapsed on that march, and his sergeant had revivedhim by mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. But the sergeant showed no signs of illness. A fewdays later, Private Lewis died.

ROBERTS: If this disease is so potentially fatal that it's going tokill a young, healthy man, a middle-aged schoolteacher doesn't have a prayer.

WALLACE: The New Jersey lab identified most of those solders' throatcultures as the normal kind of flu virus going around that year, but they could not makeout what kind of virus was in the culture from the dead soldier, and from four others whowere sick. So they sent those cultures to the Federal Center for Disease Control inAtlanta, Georgia, for further study. A few days later they got the verdict: swine flu. Butthat much-publicized outbreak of swine flu at Fort Dix involved only Private Lewis, whodied, and those four other soldiers, who recovered completely without the swine flu shot.

ROBERTS: If I had known at that time that the boy had been in a sickbed, got up, went out on a forced march and then collapsed and died, I would never havetaken the shot.

DR DAVID SENCER: The rationale for our recommendation was not on thebasis of the death of a - a single individual, but it was on the basis that when we do seea change in the characteristics of the influenza virus, it is a massive public-healthproblem in the country.

WALLACE: Dr David Sencer, then head of the CDS - the Center of DiseaseControl in Atlanta - is now in private industry. He devised the swine flu program and hepushed it.

You began to give flu shots to the American people in October of '76?

DR SENCER: October 1st.

WALLACE: By that time, how many cases of swine flu around the world hadbeen reported?

DR SENCER: There had been several reported, but none confirmed. Therehad been cases in Australia that were reported by the press, by the news media. There werecases in -

WALLACE: None confirmed? Did you ever uncover any other outbreaks ofswine flu anywhere in the world?

DR SENCER: No

WALLACE: Now, nearly everyone was to receive a shot in a public healthfacility where a doctor might not be present, therefore it was up to the CDC to come upwith some kind of official consent form giving the public all the information it neededabout the swine flu shot. This form stated that the swine flu vaccine had been tested.What it didn't say was that after those tests were completed, the scientists developedanother vaccine and that it was the one given to most of the 46 million who took the shot.That vaccine was called "X-53a". Was X-53a ever field tested?

DR SENCER: I-I can't say. I would have to -

WALLACE: It wasn't

DR SENCER: I don't know

WALLACE: Well, I would think that you're in charge of the program

DR SENCER: 1 would have to check the records. I haven't looked at thisin some time.

WALLACE: The information form the consent form was also supposed towarn people about any risk of serious complications following the shot. But did it?

ROBERTS: No, I had never heard of any reactions other than a sore arm,fever, this sort of thing.

WALLACE: Judy Roberts' husband, Gene, also took the shot.

GENE ROBERTS: Yes, I looked at that document, I signed it. Nothing onthere said I was going to have a heart attack, or I can get Guillain Barre, which I'dnever heard of.

WALLACE: What if people from the government, from the Center forDisease Control, what if they had indeed, known about it, what would be your feeling?

JUDY ROBERTS: They should have told us.

WALLACE: Did anyone ever come to you and say, "You know something,fellows, there's the possibility of neurological damage if you get into a massimmunization program?"

DR SENCER: No

WALLACE: No one ever did?

DR SENCER: No

WALLACE: Do you know Michael Hattwick?

DR SENCER: Yes, uh-hmm.

WALLACE: Dr Michael Hattwick directed the surveillance team for theswine flu program at the CDC. His job was to find out what possible complications couldarise from taking the shot and to report his findings to those in charge. Did you knowahead of time, Dr Hattwick that there had been case reports of neurological disorders,neurological illness, apparently associated with the injection of influenza vaccine?

DR MICHAEL HNITWlCK: Absolutely

WALLACE: You did?

DR HATIWICK: Yes

WALLACE: How did you know that?

DR HATrwICK: By review of the literature.

WALLACE: So you told your superiors - the men in charge of the swineflu immunization program - about the possibility of neurological disorders?

DR RATTWICK: Absolutely

WALLACE: What would you say if I told you that your superiors say thatyou never told them about the possibility of neurological complications?

DR HAJTWICK: That's nonsense. I can't believe that they would say thatthey did not know that there were neurological illnesses associated with influenzavaccination. That simply is not true. We did know that.

DR SENCER: I have said that Dr Hattwick had never told me of hisfeelings on this subject.

WALLACE: Then he's lying?

DR SENCER: I guess you would have to make that assumption.

WALLACE: Then why does this report from your own agency, dated July1976, list neurological complications as a possibility?

DR SENCER: I think the consensus of the scientific community was thatthe evidence relating neurologic disorders to influenza immunization was such that theydid not feel that this association was a real one.

WALLACE: You didn't feel it was necessary to tell the American peoplethat information

DR SENCER: I think that over the - the years we have tried to informthe American people as - as fully as possible.

WALLACE: As part of informing Americans about the swine flu threat, DrSencer's CDC also helped create the advertising to get the public to take the shot. Let meread to your from one of your own agency's memos planning the campaign to urge Americansto take the shot. "The swine flu vaccine has been taken by many importantpersons," he wrote. "Example: President Ford, Henry Kissinger, Elton John,Muhammad Ah, Mary Tyler Moore, Rudolf Nureyev, Walter Cronkite, Ralph Nader, EdwardKennedy" -etcetera, etcetera, True?

DR SENCER: I'm not familiar with that particular piece of paper, but Ido know that, at least of that group, President Ford did take the vaccination.

WALLACE: Did you talk to these people beforehand to find out if theyplanned to take the shot?

DR SENCER: I did not, no.

WALLACE: Did anybody?

DR SENC ER: I do not know.

WALLACE: Did you get permission to use their names in your campaign?

DR SENCER: I do not know.

WALLACE: Mary, did you take a swine flu shot?

MARY TYLER MOORE: No, I did not.

WALLACE: Did you give them permission to use your name saying that youhad or were going to?

MOORE: Absolutely not. Never did.

WALLACE: Did you ask your own doctor about taking the swine flu shot?

MOORE: Yes, and at the time he thought it might be a good idea. But Iresisted it, because I was leery of having the symptoms that sometimes go with that kindof inoculation.

WALLACE: So you didn't?

MOORE: No, I didn't.

WALLACE: Have you spoken to your doctor since?

MOORE: Yes.

WALLACE: And?

MOORE: He's delighted that I didn't take that shot.

WALLACE: You're in charge. Somebody's in charge.

DR SENCER: There are -

WALLACE: This is your advertising strategy that I have a copy of here.

DR SENCER: Who's it signed by?

WALLACE: This one is unsigned. But you--you'll acknowledge that it was your baby so tospeak?

DR SENCER: It could have been from the Department of Health, Education and Welfare. Itcould be from CDC. I don't know. I'll be happy to take responsibility for it.

WALLACE: It's been three years now since you fell ill by GBS right?

ROBERTS: Right.

WALLACE: Has the federal government, in your estimation, played fair with you aboutyour claim?

ROBERTS: No, I don't think so. It seems to be dragging on and on and on, and really noend in sight that I can see at this point.

JOSEPH CALIFANO: With respect to the cases of Guillain Barre...

WALLACE: Former Secretary of HEW Joseph Caifano, too was disturbed that there was noend in sight. So a year and a half ago, he proposed that Uncle Sam would cut thebureaucratic red tape for victims suffering from GBS and would pay up quickly.

CALIFANO: We shouldn't hold them to an impossible or too difficult standard of provingthat they were hurt. Even if we pay a few people a few thousand dollars that might nothave deserved it, I think justice requires that we promptly pay those people who dodeserve it.

WALLACE: Who's making the decision to be so hard-nosed about settling?

CALIFANO: Well, I assume the Justice Department is.

WALLACE: Griffin Bell, before he left?

CALIFANO: Well, the Justice Department agreed to the statement I made. It was clearedword for word with the lawyers in the Justice Department by my HEW lawyers.

CALIFANO: That-that statement said that we should pay Guillain Barre claims withoutregard to whether the federal government was negligent, if they - if they resulted fromthe swine flu shot.

GENE ROBERTS: I think the government knows its wrong.

JUDY ROBERTS: If it drags out long enough, that people will just give up, let it go.

GENE ROBERTS: I—I am a little more adament in my thoughts than my wife is, becauseI asked - told Judy to take the shot. She wasn't going to take it, and she never had hadshots. And I'm mad with my government because they knew the fact, but they didn't realisethose facts because they - if they had released them, the people wouldn't have taken it.And they can come out tomorrow and tell me there's going to be an epidemic, and they candrop off like flies to - next to me, I will not take another shot that my government tellsme to take.

WALLACE: Meantime, Judy Roberts and some 4,000 others like her are still waiting fortheir day in court.

12,000 U.S. Children To Be Swine Flu Vaccine Guinea Pigs

Around 12,000 U.S. children will be used as guinea pigs for an experimental swine flu vaccine known to contain the dangerous ingredient squalene, which has been directly linked with cases of Gulf War Syndrome and a host of other debilitating diseases.

According to a report in the Oklahoman, 12,000 children nationwide will partake in "fast-tracked studies" to test the side-effects of the untested swine flu vaccine in trials set to begin next month.

"The trials will test the vaccine’s effectiveness and whether or not it has negative side effects in patients," states the report.

Since less than 100 children in the U.S. die from regular seasonal flu each year, a reasonable estimate would be that around 100 children will die from swine flu over the course of the next year.

So in effect, the authorities will vaccinate millions of children in order to try and prevent 100 deaths. If the mass vaccination program mirrors the previous swine flu outbreak of 1976 then the vaccine is likely to kill more people than the actual virus.

Furthermore, since the swine flu vaccine includes squalene, a dangerous adjuvant that contributed to Gulf War Syndrome cases, there's little doubt that it will lead to debilitating lifelong diseases far more deadly than the swine flu virus itself for thousands of children if a mass vaccination campaign is conducted.

According to Meryl Nass, M.D., “A novel feature of the two H1N1 vaccines being developed by companies Novartis and GlaxoSmithKline is the addition of squalene-containing adjuvants to boost immunogenicity and dramatically reduce the amount of viral antigen needed. This translates to much faster production of desired vaccine quantities.”

"Research shows that squalene is the experimental anthrax vaccine ingredient that caused devastating autoimmune diseases and deaths for many Gulf War veterans from the US, UK, and Australia, yet it continues in use today and for new vaccines development in labs," writes Stephen Lendman.

According to award-winning investigative journalist Gary Matsumoto, there's a "close match between the squalene-induced diseases in animals and those observed in humans injected with this oil: rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis and systemic lupus erythematosus."

"There are now data in more than two dozen peer-reviewed scientific papers, from ten different laboratories in the US, Europe, Asia and Australia, documenting that squalene-based adjuvants can induce autoimmune diseases in animals...observed in mice, rats, guinea pigs and rabbits. Sweden's Karolinska Institute has demonstrated that squalene alone can induce the animal version of rheumatoid arthritis. The Polish Academy of Sciences has shown that in animals, squalene alone can produce catastrophic injury to the nervous system and the brain. The University of Florida Medical School has shown that in animals, squalene alone can induce production of antibodies specifically associated with systemic lupus erythematosus," writes Matsumoto.

Micropaleontologist Dr. Viera Scheibner, who conducted research into the adverse effects of adjuvants in vaccines, wrote the following about squalene.

Squalene "contributed to the cascade of reactions called "Gulf War syndrome. (GIs developed) arthritis, fibromyalgia, lymphadenopathy, rashes, photosensitive rashes, malar rashes, chronic fatigue, chronic headaches, abnormal body hair loss, non-healing skin lesions, aphthous ulcers, dizziness, weakness, memory loss, seizures, mood changes, neuropsychiatric problems, anti-thyroid effects, anaemia, elevated ESR (erythrocyte sedimentation rate), systemic lupus erythematosus, multiple sclerosis, ALS, Raynaud's phenomenon, Sjorgren's syndrome, chronic diarrhea, night sweats and low-grade fever."

Efforts on behalf of authorities to prepare the public for a mass vaccination campaign, which could even be made mandatory if the crisis escalates, have been intensifying in recent weeks. And yet, as Richard Halvorsen, a Central London GP and medical director of BabyJabs, a children’s immunisation service, writes in the London Times this week, all indications are that the swine flu vaccine will have the least effect in those most at risk from swine flu - children, the elderly and people with underlying health problems.

In his article, Mass flu vaccination would be madness, Halvorsen writes, "Is all this really necessary? To start with, swine flu is far milder than we first feared, so the case for vaccinating millions of healthy adults against a disease that is no more unpleasant than a bad cold is questionable," adding, "There is no good evidence that the vaccine helps those with chronic health problems or pregnant women. However, we do know that the immunisation offers no more than a modest benefit in the elderly; indeed, the effectiveness of the vaccine is known to decrease sharply after 70 years of age."

"We have experience of mass vaccination against swine flu from which lessons should be learnt. In America in 1976 a vaccine was offered to the whole population to prevent the spread of an epidemic of swine flu. Millions were rapidly immunised, but the vaccination campaign was stopped after a rise in cases of Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) among recipients of the vaccine. GBS is an autoimmune disorder that causes paralysis of the arms or legs or, rarely, the whole body; the sufferer usually makes a complete recovery, but some suffer permanent paralysis and a few die. Research later estimated that there was one case of GBS caused by every 100,000 swine flu vaccines given. If the current vaccine caused a similar rate of cases, then we could expect hundreds of people to get GBS, some of whom will suffer permanent paralysis or die."

Given that the vaccine contains an ingredient directly linked with a plethora of horrific diseases, will you take measures to protect your child from a mass vaccination program?

What if the government decrees a mandatory vaccination program and tries to enforce it at gunpoint, as health authorities have already indicated could happen?

With increasing public awareness of the dangers of vaccines, allied with the bizarre eugenics policies embraced by people like John Holdren, Obama's top science advisor, it seems inevitable that millions will refuse to comply with a mass vaccination program even if the government attempts to implement it by force.

Why The Swine Flu VACCINE May Be More Dangerous Than the VIRUS

As the American government gears up to turn schools into vaccinationclinics, many readers have asked me to talk about the H1N1 shot.

In an upcoming blog post I’ll share some specific advice on how youand your children can avoid the “mandatory” injection. Today, I wantedto explain why I think the H1N1 vaccine is a hundred times more dangerous than the virus.

If you’re a regular reader, you are more than familiar with my disapproval of mass vaccination programs (see “Never Cry PIG!”). While I’m normally against vaccines, I’m doubly against the new H1N1 inoculation.

Insufficient TestingThe manufacturers (I refuse to call them scientists) produced thisvaccine way too quickly under pretext of an “international emergency.”(The virus has hardly proven itself more dangerous than the common flu– I consider the “emergency” purely hypothetical hysteria.)

Because of this rushed production, no proper, long-term testing hasbeen done on this new vaccine. Severe side-effects usually take weeksor months to appear. Do you want to volunteer as a guinea pig?

Not only may the vaccine do much harm – there’s no evidence it willdo any good. Again, no one has had a chance to test it. And as themedia likes to remind us the swine flu is scheduled to mutate in theautumn – rendering any vaccine formula created for the swine flu 1.0absolutely useless.

Britain’s Trial BalloonIn the UK, the swine flu vaccine has been rushed through safety checks according to a London Times article. In the comments section is overwhelming against getting the jab.

So Why Are They Doing This?H1N1’s “threat to humanity” comes solely through amedia-sensationalized THEORY. Hardly seems enough to warrant full scalevaccination.

This person was concerned as they were beingtaught to believe that Christ was tempted in ALL things includingfornication and homosexual acts. They recognized this as false teachingbut were unsure of how to defend their position. So, what does the Bible reallysay? Was Christ tempted to lie, steal, cheat, commit adultery, and soon? No! While our Lord was most certainly tempted, He was not temptedto do these types of things but was tempted to step outside therevealed will of God.   The account given in Mathew clearly tells usthe type of temptation that Christ suffered and if we understand thisas we should, it is the temptation we all suffer. From the Expositor’s Study Bible “THEN (immediately after the descentof the Holy Spirit upon Him) was Jesus led up (urgently led) of theSpirit (Holy Spirit) into the wilderness (probably close to Jericho) tobe tempted of the Devil (as the Last Adam, He would be tempted in allpoints like as we are [Heb. 4:15; I Cor. 15:21-22, 45, 47]).  “And when He had fasted forty daysand forty nights, He was afterward hungry (other than Christ, three menin the Bible fasted forty days and forty nights: Moses [Deut. 9:9, 18,25; 10:10], Joshua [Ex. 24:13-18; 32:15-17], and Elijah [I Ki. 19:7-8]). “And when the tempter (Satan) came toHim, he said, If You be the Son of God (since You are the Son of God),command that these stones be made bread (Christ was tempted to use HisPower for His Own benefit, which He was to never do). “But He answered and said, It iswritten, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word thatproceeds out of the Mouth of God ([Deut. 8:3]; man is a spiritual beingas well as a physical being; therefore, dependent on God). “Then the Devil took Him up (apowerful force) into the Holy City (Jerusalem), and set Him on apinnacle of the Temple (its highest point, which Josephus stated, wasabout 700 feet from the ravine below), “And said unto Him, If You be the Sonof God (since You are the Son of God), cast Yourself down (literallyspoken): for it is written, He shall give His Angels charge concerningYou: and in their hands they shall bear You up, lest at any time Youdash Your foot against a stone (derived from Psalms 91:11-12). “Jesus said unto him, It is writtenagain, you shall not tempt the Lord your God ([Deut. 6:16]; to temptGod is to question His Word, which casts doubt on His ability to dowhat He has promised). “Again (the third temptation), theDevil took Him up into an exceeding high mountain (not definitelyknown, but probably Nebo), and showed Him all the kingdoms of theworld, and the glory of them (showed them to Him, not in a physicalsense, but rather in a spiritual sense); “And said unto Him, All these thingswill I give You, if You will fall down and worship me (the temptationwas that Christ abrogate the Cross, through which He would regain allthings). “Then said Jesus unto him, Get theehence, Satan (presents Christ for the first time Personally addressingSatan): for it is written, you shall worship the Lord your God, and Himonly shall you serve (Satan desires that mankind worship and serve him;we are to worship and serve the Lord Alone).  “Then the Devil left Him (“departedfrom Him for a season,” ministered, we aren’t told)”. (Mat. 4:1-11)meaning that there would be other temptations [Lk. 4:13]), and, behold,Angels came and ministered unto Him (in what manner they ministered, wearen’t told)”. (Mat. 4:1-11) Temptation Common to Man It is obvious from the text that Jesus did nothing but the Father’s will. Thisis where Satan’s temptations centered upon in regards to Christ. It wasto endeavor to get Him to step outside of the revealed Will of God, andto use His power for His own benefit, or to do things not sanctioned bythe Father. That was His temptation! This was actually the firsttemptation recorded in the Word of God. When we look at the temptationleveled against Eve in the Garden of Eden, it was not the fruit thatwas the temptation, but rather to step outside of the revealed Will ofGod!   Even though Adam was not directly tempted, he still disobeyedthe Word of the Lord and stepped outside the will of God.  In fact,every single temptation that man has experienced began with thistemptation, which is to ignore the Word of God, or to register unbeliefas it regards the Word of God. When the Bible tells us that Jesusfaced temptation that was common to all man, it means we are alluniversally tempted to step outside of the prescribed will of God. Inother words, we are tempted to contradict the Word, to violate theWord, or to ignore the Word. Every temptation whether it is lying,stealing, cheating or adultery, begins when one is tempted to stepoutside of the will of God. Satan’s primary purpose will always be totempt us to disobey the Word of God. The temptation of Christ was todisobey the Word, i.e., “disobey His Father.”  However, although He wastempted he never sinned. When we look at the temptation we see that theingredients were all there. He had fasted for 40 days and he washungry! Why not turn the stones to bread? The stones were there and hehad the power to do it. However, to use his power for his own personalgain would have been wrong and the Father had told him not to do such athing. It would have been sin because He would have been steppingoutside the prescribed will of the Father. In this regard Jesus facedwhat we all face. Every sin starts with being tempted to step outsideof God’s will.  So was Jesus tempted to commitadultery and fornication and homosexual acts? NO! However He WAStempted to step outside of the will of His Father even as those whocommit the acts above are tempted to step outside of the will of theFather. The only difference is that Jesus was tempted and did not sin.

It seems that many people have asked about this mysterious symbol on the New King James Bible. The symbol is called a Triquetraand has historically been a pagan symbol. Eventually this symbol cameto be used by the Christians as a symbol of the Holy Trinity.Presumably the approximation occurred because of the three shapes that could easily be interpreted as the Christian “fish” symbol.  Mostrecently the symbol has been adopted by the neo-pagans and the NewAge. In both Wicca and the New Age the symbol can represent the triplegoddess (maid, mother, and crone). It represents the three aspects ofthe feminine life cycle, the maiden (the young virgin), the mother(pregnancy and motherhood) and the crone (old age and immense wisdom).It is interesting to note that the Aquarian Conspiracy, the handbookfor the New Age, carries the same symbol New-Age adherents freely admitthat it symbolizes three inter-locking 6’s or 666. Interestingly enoughthis symbol also appears on the TV program “Charmed” and appears on thefront cover of "The Book of Shadows" which is used in witchcraft andSatanism. Symbols have always been important to all occultic oresoteric teachings, for they contain secret wisdom accessible only tothe initiated. Perhapsthe publishers of the NKJV Bible were unaware of it deeply Gnosticroots, we may never know. However we do know that the publishers havesince removed the symbol from their new printing.

Well, Army Recruiter Collins came outto the house yesterday. John has been thinking about joining the armyfor some time now. The day finally come to find out everything weneed to know. For about 2 hours we talked with Collins and found outsome vital information about our futures. We found out that it wontbe until October before he can sign up because of a new law Obama hasput in affect for our Military. For a time period of I am not sureof, they can only sign up 65,000 soldiers. The time clock goes backto Zero in October. Collins seemed very excited and present aboutjoining the army full time. This is called Active Duty. In doing soJohn would get a bigger signing bonus, better health care, and betterhousing. After the recruiter Collins left, we then sat down and talk.

This is something we have not jumpedinto head first without thinking it out. We have been praying formonths on this issue. Finally we got to sit down and talk it through.All the signs pointed to yes, and we know that the Holy Spirit isleading us in the direction he feels is best for our family. So inOctober, John will be taking the ASVAP test, a Physical Test, thenoff to boot camp for 9 weeks. Once he graduates boot camp he will bestationed somewhere in the USA on base or close to base. Then Hecould be sent to Iraq for a years time. This is a little scarey forus, but we feel it is right.

I was told that I could get a job onbase as a Civilian. I would be paid well, and that I would also getfree schooling for me and the kids. We would get free health care andwe would get housing. Since I have a CDL on my license Collins saidit would be no problem finding me a job. I was pretty much guaranteeda job on any military base. So there you have it. John is going tobecome Army Strong in October, after boot camp there is no tellingwere he will be based. I will quite my job, or at least give them anotification that I will be quitting and going to live somewhere elsein the USA. God only knows were we will be stationed. I hope it isnot to far away. I don't think I would like living in Hawaii. I liketo visit someday but as far as living on a Volcano, I don't know.

There will be many people effected bythis change in my life. First of all my children's lives will bechanged but I believe for the better. Then there is my immediatefamily such as my sisters, my mother, father, nieces and nephews. Iwould only get to see my family once a year, at the least. It dependson were we are stationed. I look at this situation this way, it isbetter pay and I would be able to provide for my family better, it isa chance of a life time, my kids would get an adventure, and get totravel around the world, something they have always dreamed of aswell as me. We would be able to see the world.

I would still write and publish mybooks and I would still keep my website up. I would have plenty ofspare time to try to keep the harder issues off of my mind such asJohn going to Iraq for a year, and having to fight in a war. Only Godknows what will become of this, but I will not suffocate my longingto do something important and live my adventure or my children'sadventure. This family will become Army Strong. We are alreadyStrong, and Christian Strong, Cross of Christ Strong, so I know wecan endure anything that comes our way.

I wrote several Goverment Officals the other day on the Hate Crime Bill. The senator Saxaby Chambliss Of Georgia wrote me back. Below is the email he sent me. Please read and pray for Georgia Senator on this issue. He is standing up for Georgia, He does not agree with this bill. Let us pray that the other Senators will feel the same way.

Thankyou for contacting me regarding your thoughts on hate crime legislation.  I appreciate hearing your concernson this matter.

 There is little evidence that indicates that violent crimes motivated by "hate" go unpunished in theUnited States.  Most states already have criminal laws that prohibit the anti-social behavior addressedby hate crime legislation - including laws against murder, rape, arson, assault, and battery. 

 I oppose the creation of Federal hate crime legislation for a variety of reasons.  First, I do not believethe Federal government should interfere with the criminal laws already on the books in our states.  Second,many hate crime bills attempt to establish a "protected class" of crime victims who would receive specialprotection under the law.  And finally, we already have laws to prosecute individuals who commit violentcrimes.  Those people guilty of violent crimes against anyone should be prosecuted under existing law.

ACT NOWHate Crime Bill ends Freedom of Speechand Religious Freedom in America  

The House has passed the controversialHate Crime Bill which will inhibit pastors from speaking abouthomosexuality as a biblical sin, and prohibit free religious speechagainst the homosexual lifestyle.The Bill is called “The MatthewShepard Hate Crimes Prevention Act “and was introduced in theSenate last week just as the House passed its version in a 249-175vote. The legislation is intended by its sponsors to protecthomosexuals and transgendered people from violent hate crimes byexpanding a list of federally protected groups to include sexualorientation, gender, gender identity and disability.

The new law will protect homosexuality,pedophilia, and every form of sexual deviance imaginable. Thiswill not only violate our freedom of Speech and ReligiousFreedom but may usher in unprecedented religious persecution in thisnation.

This bill will:

1.      Expand the existing definition of a"hate crime" to include gender identity, sexualorientation, and disability. (Under existing law, if someone commitsa violent crime against someone which is motivated by the victim'srace or religion, then that crime receives a harsher sentence than itwould otherwise. HR 1913 simply expands the classes protected by thisrule.)

2.      Give federal law enforcement greaterleeway and resources to investigate and prosecute hate crimes, incase local law enforcement lacks the resources to, or chooses not to,investigate.

An amendment to omit pedophiles fromprotected status was suggested to Congress; however the amendment wasquickly dismissed. Rep Alcee Hastings, D-Fla., stated that anysuffering from a “disability or all of these ‘phillias’ andfetishes and ‘isms’… need not live in fear.”

Under this new law a pastor can beprosecuted if he preaches against homosexuality and a listenersubsequently commits an act of violence against another based onsexual orientation.  In addition, the new bill will providefederal money which will enable the Justice Department to aid locallaw enforcement in imposing their own hate crime laws.

When you pass laws which assign greaterguilt to certain parties for committing the same crimes, based onwhat they were thinking at the time and the “class” of citizenswho were the victims, then you are assigning a higher value to thelives of based on their sexual orientation, race, skin color, orreligion. We are in very very dangerous water.

Expanding the Federal Government’spower to prosecute Hate Crimes will encroach on the rights of states,clogs federal courts, and conflict with the courts’ traditionalfunctions. It will also put Christian communicators in a precariousposition as simply relating what Scripture says regardinghomosexuality could be construed as hate under this new bill.

Where is the outcry from the AmericanPeople?  Contact your Senator and let Washington know thatwe will NOT stand for this!

What does it mean to be blood bought?

Does Christians truly understand the Blood of Christ?

Most Christians do not understand the Blood of Christ. In the OldTestament, God's people sinned against him. They could not doanything in their own power to cleans them self, or make themselvesbetter. The first blood sacrifice was made by God. When Adam and Evehid in the garden because they where ashamed, God knew they had takenof the fruit of the tree of knowledge of Good and Evil. The fruititself was not sin, It was the disobedient of Adam and Eve. Once theypartook of the tree, they went against God's Word. God's Word standsfirm and Just always. Adam and Eve knew they were naked and knew thatthey had sinned against God so they hid themselves from God.

God then put his plan in motion to save human kinds soul. He wouldsend his son to become a sacrifice for all. The seed of the womanwould bruise the serpent's heel. The seed of woman (Jesus) wouldbruise (destroy the work of the devil) the serpent's heel. The Crossof Jesus Christ, The Blood that would be shed.

God then made clothes for Adam and Eve after the fall. The FirstSacrifice to cover the sin of mankind was done by God. Only God couldtake away the sin of the World. Also there must have been a sheddingof blood to cover the nakedness (sin) of Adam and Eve. The blood ofan animal would not suffice. God would have to become flesh and diefor our sins, by the shedding of his blood.

Also understand this. The sin nature is passed down from oneperson to the other, by the seed of man, not woman. When a child isborn, it is born in sin, because of the fall of man. That is why Godhad to bring Jesus into the world through the seed of woman, not man.Therefore when Jesus was conceived, He was born through the seed ofwoman, Therefore being born without a sin nature. Jesus was perfectwithout spot or blemish, without sin. This was the only sacrificethat would clean the world from sin, a perfect sacrifice. He becamethe Lamb.

In the old testament, God told everyone that they should give asin offering. Which would be a lamb, without spot or blemish. It hadto be without defect. Then when the Lamb was slain, the blood wouldbe applied to the altar in the temple. If the lamb was unhealthy orhad a blemish, God would not accept it. But if it was accepted byGod, The priest would apply the blood to cover the altar. Inside thealtar (The Ark of the Covenant) was the ten commandments that God hadgiven Moses. Two Cherubim was always looking down on the altar,looking at the broken commandments, looking at the sin of man. Oncethe blood was applied to the altar, God only could see the blood ofthe innocent lamb. He did not see the sin of man. But this was onlytemporary. The Sinner (the people) would have to repeat thissacrifice, it was only a covering and not a washing.

Every time someone would sin they would have to sacrifice a lamb.The sacrifice represents what God would do. (Jesus dieing on theCross) The sinner would then place their hand on the lambs head, insymbolizing that the sins be transferred to the innocent lamb. Thenit would be killed. Then stripped of its skin and hung up for all tosee. All the things in the sacrifice represented what Jesus did atthe Cross for us.

Then Jesus was born, of the seed of woman, not of man. He had nosin nature so therefore he did not sin. He was perfect. He was tobecome our sacrifice, in which he did. Jesus then was slain on theCross. His precious blood was shed. The altar (your soul) then wascovered and washed by the Blood of Jesus. (God). The sin was washedaway and your sin nature became dormant. The Veil in the templeripped from top to bottom, now we no longer need a priest to go toGod for us, we can come into the temple ourselves and bow down toworship him.

Jesus was the perfect sacrifice so we would not have to slain alamb, He was slain for us. Our sins are washed away only if webelieve what Jesus did at the Cross of our sins. But most Christianshave left their first love. (Jesus and the Cross of Christ; TheFinished Works of Christ; His Death, His Burial, His Resurrection)

Revelation 2:4-5 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee,because thou hast left thy firstlove . (The Cross of Christ, The shedding of His Blood) Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and dothe firstworks (Come back to the Cross of Christ and never leave it again) ;or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thycandlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

1 Cor. 1:7-10 But if we walk in the light, as he is inthe light, we have fellowship one with another, and the bloodof Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. Ifwe say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth isnot in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgiveus our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we saythat we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

It really saddens me. And you may ask what sadden's you? Well, I will tell you. This Ministry has a large memeber group, but the visitations and readings of this site is slowly fading to a small number. It is called a "Slow Fade". Many people love the Lord, but when it comes to reading and studing about Him, It is great for a time, but then people Slowly begin to fade from Worship. I call it worship because many people worship the Lord by many things, reading His word, Praying, Studying His word, and so much more. But I have noticed a great drop in our readers and visitors of this site. Please people, tell your friends and your family about this site. I want to be more than just a writer of this site, I want to be your friend, I want to pray for your needs. Let us know what you need, and we will stand in prayer with you. God bless you each and everyone. I just want to see this "Slow Fade" fade away, and it be all about the Lord. That is what it should be about and nothing less.

Cross of Christ Faith Ministries

Why is it that people become bored with Christ? Why is it that people don't want to take the time to read their bible? Why is it that people don't talk to God any more? Why is it that People that say that they are Christian's do not want to participate in any Christian events or reading? Why are people Bored?

I think it is because their faith is not properly placed in Christ Jesus and the Cross. If you are truly saved you will be like a dry sponge, with the desire for moisture. As new Christians and even Christians that are mature in their faith, many become bored with God and His Word. We should become renewed in our faith and give our life back to Him. We need to Desire The Water of Life (The Word of God).

God said that men (or women) would die for the lack of knowledge. This knowledge is not the knowledge of the World but the Knowledge of God's will for us. If we don't become thirsty we will die. If we don't become hungry we will die.

What do you do when you get hungry? Well, we all know the answer to that question. We go find ourselves something to eat. What do we do when we get thirsty? Same answer, we go and get us something to drink. What would happen if you did not drink or eat? Well, that is a easy question to answer. We would die!!!

This is the same for our spirit. We need to feed and water our spirit or it will die. It will become bored. If we feed our spirit with The Water of Life and the Bread of Life we will never hunger or thirst. We will grow in Spirit. God says to us that if we are lead by the Spirit of God then we are called The Sons of God.

He also tells us that "He is the Bread of Life" if any man hunger or thirst after righteousness they shall be filled. We should get back to our roots. We should center our faith back in our first Love "Christ and Him Crucified". We should never leave our first love, because if we do the outcome is death. If we stay centered, and keep Jesus Christ, and Him Crucified; along with the finished works of the Cross; then we shall live. We will never grow bored of Life.

God tells us he is the "Life", we must live in Him. Be in Christ Jesus always. So let us not be bored. Feed upon the Word of God, Drink in the Living Water of the Cross, and live. I say to you Live.

Dear Friends,

It was a sad and eye opening day yesterday. My father, Kids and I went to Marietta Georgia, during this time, my father told us about some homeless men that was living under a bridge. We went and bought them some shoes to wear, gave them some coats and even talked with them a little while.

My heart has been so heavy lately for these two men. My father said to them, "It must be hard serving in this weather". The one gentleman said. "If it was not for God, we would not have made it."

We often complain about things that we go through but if you think about these two men that we are trying to help, we have nothing to complain about. Do we? We are not working on buying these two men a bible, a used mattress to get them off the cold ground, some food and any other clothing we can find. If you would like to help please email us.

If you can give a donation to help these men then please pray for them. There are so many people out there that are homeless, and no one will take the time to minister to them. The greatest gift we can give them is the "Gospel of Jesus Christ". We are working on raising up enough money to buy these two homeless men a bible each. If we can put the word of God into their hands, and hearts, then God can bless them with so much more.

This burden was laid upon my heart so heavily since I meet these wonderful people. They really have a wonderful spirit about them. I don't know why they are homeless but I do know that bad things do happen to good people. They are both brothers and one of them is slow. Please think about this the next time you decide to complain about your life. We are so blessed and don't even realize it.
