Dear Friends,
It was a sad and eye opening day yesterday. My father, Kids and I went to Marietta Georgia, during this time, my father told us about some homeless men that was living under a bridge. We went and bought them some shoes to wear, gave them some coats and even talked with them a little while.
My heart has been so heavy lately for these two men. My father said to them, "It must be hard serving in this weather". The one gentleman said. "If it was not for God, we would not have made it."
We often complain about things that we go through but if you think about these two men that we are trying to help, we have nothing to complain about. Do we? We are not working on buying these two men a bible, a used mattress to get them off the cold ground, some food and any other clothing we can find. If you would like to help please email us.
If you can give a donation to help these men then please pray for them. There are so many people out there that are homeless, and no one will take the time to minister to them. The greatest gift we can give them is the "Gospel of Jesus Christ". We are working on raising up enough money to buy these two homeless men a bible each. If we can put the word of God into their hands, and hearts, then God can bless them with so much more.
This burden was laid upon my heart so heavily since
I meet these wonderful people. They really have a wonderful spirit
about them. I don't know why they are homeless but I do know that bad
things do happen to good people. They are both brothers and one of
them is slow. Please think about this the next time you decide to
complain about your life. We are so blessed and don't even realize
it.
